Default Mad. Philly Show 5/19

Okay, I purchased tickets to the show the day they went on sale. In fact, it took 40 minutes to get through to someone on the phone and the best seats she could give me were section 112. I ended up going on the internet the moment I hung up with the woman. The seats I ended up with at $125 bucks a pop are section 110, row 22. I've been going online at ticketmaster.com for the past few days to see what seats they have available. I am EXTREMELY pissed by the fact that there are better seats available now than there were on the day they began selling the tickets. Just now I went on and saw there are tickets for row 9 section 102 which would be in the center (not the pit but the center). Anyone else noticing this or am I the only one?

Well, you are not going to believe this, but I just pulled up two tickets on Ticketmaster and they gave me section 115, row 17 - right next to the stage!!

Those are better tickets than my section 114, row 13 that I pulled the second they went on sale.

Ridiculous!!

A friend of mine told me that when she went to see Stevie, her seats basically sucked. She went to the ticket booth before the show and asked them if they had anything better in her price range. They traded tickets with her. We probably wouldn't be so lucky!

I just was on a ticket broker site that had two section 2 front row seats for $1,300 + EACH. My God!! That is too nuts.

I just sent a snail mail letter to ticketmaster this morning. I wonder if they'll even bother to reply?? Hmm...

That would make me very angry.

Im wondering first, why the FU center is selling so badly!

Two, Im wondering why all these great seats are available to the public and not to the people paying so much money.

Marissa...if you get extra money, but two good seats and sell the others. As the show gets closer YOU WILL GET people to buy them at face value.

In Atlantic City we got two seats ( the last two supposedly) for Stevie then we got two free tickets for 10th row. So we sold the other two ( really awful seats) in minutes to people standing around. That was for Stevie right after 9-11 , you can definitely get rid of Fleetwood Mac tickets...at work, online, at the show itsself. I KNOW people who'd maybe buy them. But if you can do that, do THAT!

If not, I just feel really bad.

Switching is not a bad idea either, you could always just try.

I feel really bad....that sucks.

Janet, I'm e-mailing you a copy of my letter. Hopefully it'll work because if it doesn't, i'm calling them. I would have just e-mailed them if it weren't for the fact that after having filled everything out on the website, the submit button wouldn't work. They must get a lot of complaints in order to shut that off. I would totally buy the other set of tickets if it weren't for the fact that i'm not sure if i'll be able to sell the other set and get the exact amount that I paid for them especially considering that the show is not as of yet sold out and there are better tickets available to purchase. Blah. That is all...lol
