In my dream world, Stevie would star in her own goddamn movie. All the modern filming would be of her playing herself.... kinda The Notebook style or something like that. She's literally ACTING and we see her engage in fake conversations with people about her past, watch her play the piano by herself and write songs, watch her perform.... and it ends up being a 61-year-old woman's story of how incredible her life was with flashbacks of all the high quality footage we have and also don't have. The two could be woven into one or something.

Sigh. To dream.

LOL. Are they really that bad? I haven't heard them yet.I just mentioned that because if she has some experience singing or playing an instrument, that might help. But eh,nobody can sing like Stevie. And even if they tried it just wouldn't be half as good they would have to do voice overs.I agree also that a not well known actress would have to portray her in order for her to "become" Stevie.
What about Bella Swan or Melissa Joan Hart?
I should get off this before I get too carried away.

Dani, that is genius! Seriously, that idea you just described made me get butterflies in my stomach thinking about how cool and amazing that would be! Its so simple, yet I wonder if she's even though of it??? Stevie needs good friends and advisors in her life like US, not all those other people she has hanging around her, ugh!

Dani and Bryson I know you too both dig lindsey in looks and music.
I dig stevie in both looks and music.

When I think of the stevie I'm attracted to I think of the one from 1981.
Do you guys think of Lindsey from the younger days? or now?
haha just curious about it

Hmm, like the way Joan Rivers played herself in that TV movie? Sounds a bit cheesy to me, but I might be wrong. And hasn't Stevie always said herself that she's not an actress?

If they managed to make it not cheesy (which is possible), it would be awesome. I mean this would never happen but I can dream, right?

And Chris/Viv: I LOOOOOOOOOOVVVEE older Lindsey but I could take some Tusk era, too

I definitely think 1977-1980 Lindsey is beautiful, actually, any year Lindsey is beautiful. But when I first ever heard Fleetwood Mac, it was The Dance. So my first impression of Lindsey was when he was like 48 or 49. So, I'd say thats who I fell in love with, lol. And I absolutely think that Lindsey has gotten more sexy with his age. He's currently very hot to me.

And if we're talking about Stevie, I think Stevie has been amazingly hot at all ages, but particularly 1982 Stevie. I thought she was super pretty during Mirage AND, I think she is beautiful right now. My first impression of her was The Dance, also, so I love our Stevie that we have now. If the truth be known, I might have a lesbian crush on her, lol. Jk....sort of...

I would LOVE to see Reese to play Stevie in a movie!! I love Walk The Line and I think she's a really good actress + she does actually look a little like Stevie when Stevie has younger

Reese is a great actress. But she doesn't look at all like Stevie, nor does she have the same kind of energy. I don't know what actress today does...

Reese is pretty good at the "not so innocent" characters. Just watch Freeway. I like when Reese plays off the wall parts instead of those cookie cutter romantic comedy characters.

With that said, I still can't see Reese as Stevie. I also DO NOT want to see Lindsay Lohan as Stevie. She is a horrible performer (watch her edge performance) and very awkward on stage. She wouldn't do performance scenes justice. I do think she is a good actress otherwise. Once upon a time I thought Scarlett Johansson would be a good Stevie, but I am not so sure now. I think they should find an unknown.

Overall, I agree with the poster that said they would rather Stevie write a book instead of creating a movie about her life.
