Is this the way it was for most Mac gigs on the first leg, somebody from the U.S? Did they release the bad seats first and then release the good ones a few hours after they officially went on sale?
Why would they do it that way? I'm glad fans are pulling good seats, I'm just so annoyed it's not me I thought I was pulling out all the stops.

Where are you sitting? You're probably still closer than me! I need 4 seats together so I'm in G row 29. I saw Lindsey from front row and twice in second on the GOS tour so I don't mind (too much) being a bit further back this time round

In my experience with the O2 arena in London, I've found they tend to release the seats further back first (ie the ones they'll have more trouble shifting). I guess they think the more eager fans will take anything. I don't have any proof of this but the amount of times I've tried pre-sales or at 9am on the general sale only to be offered seats at the very back of the arena. Then a couple of months later I'll try again and suddenly they have lots of decent seats on offer.

Default Fleetwood Mac add second O2 show

31 Aug 2009

Fans can look forward to a few surprises!

There’s good news for Fleetwood Mac fans with the AOR gods announcing a second consecutive night at the Dublin O2 on October 25. Tickets priced €86.25 go on sale on Friday September 4 at 9am.

The North American leg of the Unleashed tour has been eliciting rave reviews with the band augmenting their greatest hits with personal favourites and solo tracks that, in some cases, haven’t been performed live since the ‘70s.

The Reynolds Girls may have preferred to jack than Fleetwood Mac, but we can’t wait!

But the show on the 25th went on sale an hour or two after the show on the 24th! It's been on sale for months.

You and I know this but the general Irish population doesn't.

What an absolute disgrace.

False advertising. Build up hype for a show that has been on sale for over 2 months just to pull in ticket sales from a morning of panic ticket buying.

This is just ridiculous like. I got my ticket for Sunday night ONE HOUR after Saturday show tickets went on sale.
Stupid Hot Press.. Wrong again.

They will have known about it if they went to buy tickets at any time in the last few months. And the first show didn't sell out so the press release it just a total and utter fabrication to try and sell some tickets.

I think they over-estimated it by putting on two Dublin dates. If they'd made the second night a Belfast concert then they could have sold both but I know at least ten people (and if I know ten people who won't do it then I reckon there are plenty more from the north who won't be doing it either) who aren't going to travel down the the Republic because the tickets are £30 more than the UK dates and staying in Dublin for a night will cost more money than most people would be willing to pay. It is one of the most outrageously expensive cities I've ever been to.

Default I think

The whole thing is a farce. I'm only going to the 1st date.I'm not particularly excited about a 2nd. I got all I could've wanted seein 'em on the SYW Tour anyhow.
Besides the fact that everything i've read so far about this tour is not particularly amazing..just ''okay''.
And I do believe there was one of the band admitting it was 'for the money'? Not too sure I can't remember, but either way all I have to say is 'MEH'.
Nice for fans who will be seeing them for the first time though, hope you have an amazing time

Yesterday, for no particular reason, I went online and pulled 2nd and 3rd row center seats in the "Flats" for both nights in Dublin. Cah--razy! So it looks like I'm going! I just wish the dollar wasn't so weak against the euro . So is it really true that they pretty much allow everybody up to the stage anyway? I do recall back on the SYW tour that a big brawl broke out in the front during the show in Dublin, so I wonder if they have instituted measures to prevent this sorta thing from re-occurring. Also, from what I can tell (on Google Earth), it looks like O2 is located in a pretty desolate industrial area near the docks. It looks like a pain-and-a-half to get to.

Since we'll be out there anyway, I'm going to look into Glasgow and the Wembley dates as well. I noticed the "Hot Ticket Package" that they are offering, which is sorta like ILAA-lite. Accordingly, it's a smidge cheaper than ILAA... But what I noticed is that the package includes a tour program. So, by golly, it looks like they're finally going to put one out! But it doesn't look like they sell these to international folks since the shipping options are only for UK/Ireland addresses.

The closer it's getting to the 1st Dublin concert, the less excited about it I'm beginning to feel tbh. At the time I didn't mind splashing out for the ticket, it was pretty much all I wanted to do. But all this **** about the new 2nd date etc is just a joke and I'm sorry I ever gave so much money to those greedy ****ers who couldn't give a toss about any of us here.
