She never was meant for the point, and made no bones about being more comfortable in the line (rhythm section). This was true early on, and remained so until the end. The only members of the Mac that filled out the front and center position well were Bob Welch, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. All the others - Green, Spencer, Kirwan, C. McVie - could step out as required and perform like seasoned aces, but were more comfortable with their instruments than in front of the mic. Bob Weston is hard to place as he always appeared to enjoy the limelight, to the extent he could grab it. Jeremy also could put on an amazing stage show, a lot of it over the top and even comedic (sometimes bawdy, sometimes gross), but he was never meant for the spotlight in an exclusive way in FM. I always felt Peter, Danny, Welch and Bob Weston were the biggest guns live, with those amazing axes they wielded. Never saw Dave Walker or Bekka Bramlett live, and I'll limit my take here to the band's pre-MOR days since Vito, Burnette and Mason never lived up to what they could have been in the Mac (all top notch musicians though).
