seriously though, my priorites are not on men at all..and I'd need a guy with the same ones as me- technology and knowledge first- relationships second...for now anyways...
I have an "alternative theory" that it's because nobody loves me and everybody hates me.

Same here. I'm 27, and I've never been able to relate to people my own age. That's why my guy is 38! lol At least he knows who Stevie is, and even remembers all her videos!

Watch Elvis. TCM is showing a marathon of his movies.
Just do what Elvis does, and then the girls will notice you.

The trick is to NOT pursue them. Then wait until they pursue you. You gotta be a member of a group and make yourself "stand out" somehow. One very easy way to do that is to dress nice, which is absolutely mandatory. Dressing nice doesn't have to involve spending a lot of money. But there's more to "standing out" than that. Stevie said it best, i.m.o. - - "It's ALL in the way you say very little."
And you gotta look like somebody who's "headed somewhere" - - Women like guys with a little bit of ambition - but don't make it obvious that you're trying to sell yourself that way - "hints" are more interesting anyway.

Mostly, you gotta make yourself seem unavailable; 'cause scarcity has value.

Or the exact opposite of that or somewhere in-between.

BUT . . . You won't listen to that. Hell, *I* didn't! I'm not convinced ANY guy ever does until it's too late.

And seriously, for the love of God, check out the X-Files - - - Especially the pilot episode:

"Are you familiar with a man named Fox Mulder?
Scully: "Yes."
"How so?"
Scully: "By Reputation."

Ignore that at your own risk!!!!!

Go for it! Carpe diem, seriously.

But that's kinda an important thing. Hence all my life problems which really boil down to my tendency to totally screw with male brains in inappropriate ways. Sigh.

I went on a.... "date".... tonight. Yes, it is a Sunday.

It wasn't exactly a "date", we can politely put it that way. Definitely a good evening, though!

I'm going to have to think about this a little bit.
You might have to be a little less polite!

On another subject...........
This place was rocking last night.
I felt like we were all playing tag,
those of us who were here after
midnight (my time, anyway).

Thisd may also be true of guys dating older women. I was with someone who was 18 years older than me... the age difference did get in the way eventually (I was fine with it, I may add!) but while it lasted it was great!!

Guys what do you think??
