I'm getting my first the day I turn 18. It's a Tuesday. I'm so excited.

What are some other Stevie-reminiscent images (moons, the Enchanted feather, etc.)?

EDIT: The wild heart symbol. That would look awesome with my "dreams unwind" thing. But I need as mystical as I can get...

I really want 'drowning in the sea of love' tattooed on my wrist. To profess my undying love for "Sara".

It is really cute! I love when she does it on the old performances. I don't think she says it anymore though, or at least I never noticed it on "The Soundstage Sessions" or any live shows from this tour.

I think she still says drownding. I noticed it continue during Unleashed.

I also think she says "mirror" oddly.

Hmm, I haven't noticed. I'm going to have to listen for it.

And I noticed how she said "mirror" weird. It's sort of like "meerur".

I've got "all the same all the same all the same" in black text across my shoulders, and I love it - it's fun watching people trying to read my back and then figure out wtf that's all about.

It will eventually turn into a full back piece with Rhiannon themes - the forest of black roses, with the black roses twining up some dark-colored trees and covering the "floor" (with a penguin hidden in there, of course) and the three birds, among some other stuff.

Alas, full back pieces takes many monies and I have none right now, but I dream on, silly dreamer. ;-)

OOOH you just inspired me. I want three tiny birds next to mine. Much better than the moon.

on the bella donna album cover stevie is holding a tamborine...she once said that represented "looking through a port hole..choosing to look at life as an optomist..." something of that nature...look it up..it had VERY significant meaning...i think the tamborine w/a bird fllying through it and underneith it.." come in out of the darkness." will help keep me optomistic forever...research it a bit if u like this idea..i ahve been toying w/it for a decade but have yet to do it...good luck w/ur dicision..

Thank you! I want to do something Stevie-esque, but also kinda ambiguous enough to work in other elements if I decide to. I know for sure I don't want to go with a woman to represent Rhiannon, or a horse, so that leaves me a lot of room to play more, I think.

Also, Dani - if you end up doing the birds, I want pics, please!

I was just creepin' on Google Images--because honestly there's no better way to spend a Saturday night!--and found some Stevie tattoos!

If you're going for actually having Stevie on you, then this is pretty cool - love the picture he used for it:

Pretty sure those are based on Johanna Pieterman's work, correct?
