I guess it's a fair chance then that Refugee=Apostle.

I think Jeremy Spencer once listed "The Apostle" as one of his favourite Peter Green composition. So it could be that it was originally intended for the religious album they had planned. How about it, Jeremy???

Back in 1978 while in California at Mick's house, Pete came by with a copy of the single 'Apostle' on DVK records (or something like that). He played it for me and I really liked it. He said he had originally called it 'The Refugee', but he was at the time with Jane who was a converted Jewess and had suggested he retitle it 'The Apostle'. Pete said something about it being like part of Jesus' sermon the mount.
It had nothing to do with that idea of Jesus' life album to my knowledge.
He played the flip 'Tribal Dance' or something, which I didn't like!
Hope that's of some help!
Jeremy.
