Am I the only one that didnt know Ken Caillat was Colbie Caillat's Dad? I just read this in an article on livedaily.com about her new album and it was mentioned. How interesting. I just heard her new song Fallin For You and it sounds fleetwood macish. Anybody else think so as well?

No you're NOT the only one! I didn't know before I saw, on mtv, that they were in her house and there was the rumours grammy award in the livingroom...I thought "Why does she has it in her house???" then, some days (or weeks) later I got it, she was his daughter

lol beats the sh*t out of me!! after listening to her fallin for you song again it really sounds like fleetwood mac with the guitar and stuff. interesting!

She has a new album coming out. They're pushing her more country this time around... I hear rumors my office is going to work with her in some capacity.

That's interesting, I always imagined she'd suit contemporary country music. I really like her track with Taylor Swift, 'Breathe'.

I love Colbie. I actually call her 'Rumours-producers daughter' lol. She's laid back' has a good voice, and actually writes her own stuff. Fallin for you = my life, so it's on uberheavy rotation. Oxygen and Tailor Made are great too.

yeah i like her songs as well. they are catchy! i saw her open up for the goo goo dolls a few years ago before i even knew who she was.

I just love Colbie! I remember hearing her on the radio for the first time, and I just knew she had to be Ken's daughter. The production of her songs is very mid 70s Mac esque. Just play her song Realize back to back with the Mac's Warm Ways. Though she claims she didn't listen to the Mac and drew her inspiration from Hawaii instead, I call BS... she obviously gleaned something from her musical DNA!

yeah that song is very catchy, i gotta go download it now from itunes cuz its stuck in my head. Is it just me or does the guitar part of that song sound like gypsy?

Have not heard the new one but the couple of hits she had off the last one and her voice seemed kind of pedestrian and generic to me.
