I have middle names all planned out too hhahaha. Stevie got upset and couldn't finish it. There's video of it. As the tour continued, the end of Silver Springs kept getting more and more dramatic, with her pulling her mic farther across the stage and Lindsey chasing her over there. By the time they got to that penultimate show, Stevie was crying at the end and those who reviewed the show say that they could see her saying to him, "I can't do it. I can't do it."

I have a list of boys names, too, and one of them will potentially be Lindsey despite my parents' complaints. But none of the other names are really related to Stevie or Mac.

Yeah, she was clearly upset, but it's just hard to tell if she was emotional over the song, or because she knew her voice was failing. "I can't do it" to me seems like she knew her voice was toast. I think these guys were on emotional autopilot by that point. Everything was (and still is) so rehearsed that it's hard to imagine that she would break down at that point. Plus, although I haven't listened to the track in a while, from what I remember the vocals are pretty bad right out of the gate. It's just more romantic to think she got caught up in the emotions of the song.

I remember you noting that Lindsey was crying too after he sang it and how the boot was really awful, compared to being there and witnessing it.
