Yep. It is not nearly as angry as the Mirage version. I am so used to that version, especially the "flaaaaaaaaaaaming" part - I miss it

Does the rhythm remind anyone else of the "Joan of Ark" demo? It totally makes me think of that of that song...

I think it's great! Stevie sounds so amazing! There is something about Lindsey that he just brings the best out in her. By the way the song is very edgy and definetaly something critics will love. This is the kind of stuff the album needs if it is going to be taken seriously today. So far the stuff I heard makes me very proud. This is so not Mirage, (which I love ) it is Tusk taken to another level. I did'nt know Smile at You before, (I heard it once )so you guys who are used to the other version will get used to it. It's really another song! I think it's brilliantly done.

In my initial excitement, I forgot to thank Sara for the heads-up.

Sorry about that, Sara... and thank you!

Well it seems we don't have to worry about the entire Lp being too mainstream anymore!I was not that attached to the demo versions that have been around for decades so I love this new one great vocal by Stevie as well!

I really like this new version but I'm attached to the "angry" demo that's been out there for years too. It's almost like a different song with the background vocals & new arrangement. It's really a new take on an old song, that's for sure! And everyone is right, Stevie's voice sounds just fabulous!

I don't know if you can get it if you don't have AOL.

I only joined for "free" AOL for 45 days to get this stuff for the Mac!
