I used to have a crapton of Midis on the Nokia.

I now have an iPhone. and iTunes expects me to not only buy the song on there, but pay .99 for it. screw that.

I then downloaded an app, that claims it gives you free ringtones. the sound quality is horrible.

So I will now try that website that Caitlin posted. Thanks in advance-even if it doesnt work on the demon-iPhone

I have minimal complaints about the phone. but the ringtone situation is def. one. :/

I'm obsessed with this thing. The beginning of "dreams unwind" in the Nashville 1980 version of "Rhiannon" is my ringtone. YES.

I just got a BlackBerry Storm last month. The best thing about is being able to make any song in my music library into a ring tone. It does play the whole song however so I might try the site Caitlin posted. Anyway all of my so few contacts have a Fleetwood Mac song. Only one friend has Boom Boom Pow. I need to make more friends so I can create more ring tones.
I try to pick songs that don't fade in. I have Angel, Oh Daddy ( for Dad) Not That Funny, and I'm So Afraid for unknown callers. LOL

I went to Caitlin's link (thanks!) and downloaded two songs to my phone. They're there, but I have no idea how to change them from a Saved Sound to a ringtone. *SIGH* Maybe it will all seem clearer in the morning.

Currently when you call me, my ringtone is Miranda, the chours. My text ringtone is Edge of Seveteen. The 'I went forward with an age old...' part. I love it!

Others I have saved are Come-live in boston, Dreams, Little Lies, Tusk 'real savage like' part, Steal Your Heart Away, and The Chain.

Yes...if I hear the end of it, it means I missed the call. Haha! Oh well...I edited it that way b/c it's my favourite line.

Ooooh I just made one with the opening bars of "Candlebright". Genius. I still don't want to take "Rhiannon" down though... I just like making options

Oh and the first four notes of the Enchanted piano version of "Rhiannon" alerts me of a text message
