Ethan, you will NOT need a week off of work to recover from this. And you can drink milkshakes and other fattening things to keep your weight up.

Yeah I was just going to say that, jannie. I'd take 3 days off at most. Drink some protein drinks - that is what I will be doing. (well, I do that normally) Obviously you don't need to chew a drink and they have a lot of cals and protein which is always good. I also don't want to lose any weight at the moment so I understand the concern.

Same for me. I had one pulled out a few years ago and I wasn't knocked out. Just injections to numb the area and then they yanked it out!

Hey guys- everything is alright. It wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be. In all I think I've had 4 maybe 5 pain pills.... I actually spent some time down at the pool today, so it's been alright. I'm just ready to eat regularly again as I'm kind of timid to go all out with it!!

Thank you all for asking!

hey Musicman408, i am glad to hear you are ok. yeah eating was strange for me after i had my wisdom teeth out. i was so used to chewing on those back teeth that i had to teach myself to chew more towards the front. not fun but after a while you wont think anything about it.

Is it as bad as I think it'll be???? Hope fully not!!
You will find yourself screaming in agony. You will pray for death to deliver you. You will rip the remaining flesh from your lips in saturated terror. Your breath will stall in your throat. Your pulse will rapidly accelerate. Panic will engulf you.
