I had to vote Lindsey! Of course I am a shipper..
But with all the songs she writes about him and just the way they look at each other. It may all be a put on but still.. if it is they are good at acting. I just love the idea of them together. And this is by far one of my favorite quotes! ![]() Quote:

Lindsey really seems to have an enduring soft spot for both Stevie and Mick. And I'd like to think the English dame as well, but I'm feeling a little disheartened on that score. Anyway, I was always moved thinking about that part in Mick's book after the Tango argument when he said Lindsey sat out in his car for a long time, but none of them was in the mood to go after him. That little detail of LB sitting alone in the car, not leaving, not going back, says so much. Michele |

[QUOTE=coopcoop;
Buckingham just seems to never talk with any happiness about the past with her or mac and i dont think he ever wrote her a nice love song, but he certainly has a wonderful life with his wife,kids and their gorgeous house so maybe he doesnt care about the past. I think that Under thte Skin is a beautiful love song, and I agree with CADreaming, "What kind of man is hell bent 40 years later to 'work things out' with a woman he's not involved with on some emotional level?" |

Yeah, and going back in time, if it's about Stevie, even the early DLMDA is a beautiful love song.
Then, as we get to Rumours, saying I'd give you my world, but you won't take it from me is quite a beautiful sentiment. In that context, the "you can go your own way" part can hardly be interpreted as callous disregard. It's not even a false show of bravado or disinterest, considering he's already bared his soul. The words might be wrathful heard in a vacuum, but when paired with a lyric saying I'd give you everything, but you won't let me, so you can go your own way, the anger can't be seen as anything but a thin wrap for the pain and hurt. Stevie cries that "beautiful love song" plaint, but except for the softer musical tone, there's nothing more tender about the loneliness driving you mad sentiment in Dreams than the "another lonely day" one in GYOW.
