DREAMS - solo live

Travis · #1 07-22-2009, 07:34 PM

Hi All,

Would any of you mind posting some solo live mp3's of Dreams please? I had some on my pc a few years ago before my pc crashed and since I got my new one, I've never really tried to get them again until now. I can't recall if Stevie did "Dreams" on the House Of Blues performance with Outside the Rain or without it but that is one I'd like to have. Any professional live recording (like from one of the radio concerts that used to air back in the good ole days) would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Travis

Oh oh, I've got some good ones! Give me a few minutes.

Here is the one I believe you are looking for.

Dreams
9.18.94 House of Blue Los Angeles, CA

If Outside the Rain was there...you know Dreams will be there too. It doesn't always work the other way around, though.

Hi Nailatix!

Thanks you for posting, I appreciate it however, this doesn't sound like the one I had ... I seem to recall talk of the show being re-done in the studio maybe? This one sounds a bit grainy ... I'm looking for the more professional sounding one ... I appreciate it very much though that you took the time to post it for me.

Bella Donna tour - December 13, 1981 - Los Angeles, CA:

Wild Heart tour - August 31, 1983 - Austin, TX:

^Yes, she does start talking about "Snoopy"

Oh, Stevie... how easily she gets distracted by all her stuffed animals she obtains!

This one's from a live compilation called Dreamer so I'm not sure of it's stats. It's either '81 or '83. Awesome nonetheless:

This has "Outside the Rain" attached to it (sorry!) but it's a really clear "Dreams"
Other Side of the Mirror tour - October 8, 1989 - Houston, TX:

This got a bit confusing since in my Mediafire account they're all titled "Dreams" lol so let me know if anything is wrong!

I can't help you out with the Welcome to My World (House of Blues) "Dreams" -- I don't have that on my computer right now.

Thank you FMlex!

Not sure if you know this but the first 3 files you uploaded are all the same live version of the song. The first one is a wav file (whoever uploaded it didn't compress it to an mp3, which is also nice to have - so it's pure CD quality). The 2nd and 3rd links are the same and both are mp3s. Whoever labeled them just got them mixed up I guess .. but both are from the Bella Donna tour (White Winged Dove concert video). I'm using one of them so it wasn't all in vain :-). Thank you very much for taking the time to upload them.

Okay, hang on - let me straighten this out...

This link is for "Dreams" from the Rock a Little tour - August 1986. It's taken from the Westwood One radio broadcast:
http://www.mediafire.com/?yoydz2yj2ln

From the live compilation called Dreamer:
http://www.mediafire.com/?mmyzoxmtnjj

"Outside the Rain" and "Dreams" from The Other Side of the Mirror tour:
http://www.mediafire.com/?aywttmrmxm4

The WAV file, from the Superstar Concert Series during the Wild Heart tour:

See if that is correct now -- I guess I didn't have the one from Austin where she says "Snoopy!" so forgive me for that error!
