I bite My Lip.....

I like creating photo threads that have some sort of theme about Stevie or the Mac. She doesn't really do it to much anymore, but in the past there have been a lot of photos of Stevie biting her lower lip. Here are just a few of them....and plus in the song "Beautiful Child" she says that she bites her lip....I just think it's funny.

I first noticed she did this while watching her sing "Rhiannon" on the Midnight Special and thought it was cute... then noticed it again in some pics.

I love all these pics, some of my favorites.

Yeah.. that's something I noticed too. I don't know if she even notices it. Who knows? I do that myself a lot, and don't even realize it half the time, lol. Kind of an involuntary thing maybe.. and something I've always done I'm finding out, as I saw an old super 8 converted to CD home movie with myself doing that. Hmm... never really gave it much thought, but I agree with the ones who said Stevie looks cute doing that. She does to me too. Interesting subject...

I do too. I do it when I'm concentrating or nervous. I don't generally realise until someone points it out. I suppose she could do it for the same reasons. Anyway, I think it's cute too. I think it was one of the reasons she looked so young, particularly in the late seventies - it's a habit generally associated with young children.

She's doing this also in the "I Can't Wait" music video...when she's turning around to the micro and wants to start singing but then notices that this is the wrong part and so she shut up and is biting her lip. Anyone knows the part?? If not, I'm going to post the part I'm talking about....

I know what part you mean. It's when she's singing the chorus and the backing singers are singing 'I can't wait', and she goes to join in but of course she can't as she doesn't sing that part. I think it's the chorus just before the synth bridge part.

I think it's since she had her teeth fixed. In the first few years of Fleetwood Mac the front two seem to stick out a little bit, giving her a slight overbite. I'm guessing she got veneers or wore a removable brace or something, because they don't anymore - or it's not as noticeable, anyway.
