Im 21 rows back from the stage on lindsey's side. Im NOT a fanclub member so i looks as if i did just fine with the venue presale. Im still in the first half of the floor! and i didnt get charged 40.00 in fees. Im not trying to be a snot and rub it in...im just making a point.

A full blown fiasco, but I can't say I didn't expect it. As usual, I will sit in the first two rows at one show somewhere. And as usual, I will pay a scalper, um, I mean, ticket agency, 4-500 bucks for the seat. Nothing new.
I have never been able to get a ticket from Ticketmonster that was in the first 15 rows of the floor. Not waiting in line, not on the computer. I have heard about people getting those seats. It happens with the frequency of people seeing bigfoot. In fact, I have heard more people saying they have seen UFO's than people saying they got great seats from Ticketmonster.
Kudos to anyone who got to participate in a "venue presale."
Never heard of such a thing, and maybe that makes me even more of a chump than giving Mick Fleetwood 60 bucks.

Frankly, ever since the advent of Ticketmonster, I have become more and more convinced that the good seats go directly from Ticketmonster to the the scalpers, oops, I mean Ticket Agencies.
In the good old days, a scruffy teen like myself could wait all night in line and be guaranteed a great seat. But then, that was 1980, and tickets were 13 bucks. They have since gone up in price 1000%.
Funny, that. What else has gone up 1000% in twenty years ? Venue rental prices ? Trucking ? Gas ? Hotels ? Food ? The salaries of employees at concert venues ? Nope.
What is wrong with this picture ?

Thankfully, I can afford to pop 800-1000 bucks every time one of these tours happens. That doesn't mean I don't resent it.
I am very glad to be an adult with a great job. I am also very glad I am not a scruffy teenager trying to get a great seat to a show with the money I can barely scrape together. Because today that kid has a very slim chance of getting what he wants. If any chance at all.

Hey, Neil! We'll be "crappy seat mates." LOL Well, I'm always happy to meet Ledgies, we'll have fun. Do you happen to know which end of the row the seat numbers begin? Or how many rows are in Sections 1-3? I'm assuming there's 26 rows and then they start at Row A again for the back of the floor, which puts me in Row 29.

Question Buffalo show

I joined the club and got 10th row seats for Buffalo.. maybe tickets.com didn't have as many problems as ticketmaster.

I bought my tickets March 3rd for the staples center I just clicked on a link on AOL and was able to buy floor row 10 for $135.00.
How was I able to get tickets so early and I am not a member of the fan club?

We wish we all could be closer to the stage, that is always what we aim for but it doesn't always happen. I am just happy that I am going to the two Worcester shows.
I have great seats for the first show and decent seats for the second. Like I say just glad to be going.

Take care everyone and hope that everyone gets to at least go and hear some great music

Hey...I'm in row 10 too!! I got seat 16. My ticket buying experience was very strange. When I first logged in...I got seats that were really far away and I was about to buy them. But I was using my sister's credit card and I didn't have that 3 number ID thing that's on the back of the card...so I had to call her and by the time I got the number it was too late to buy them. So I tried again and ended up getting 10th row! I couldn't believe it...something was definitely wrong with TM that day.

Thumbs up I actually...

improved my seat by buying a FLR 5 Row A seat and I sold my FLR 5 Row J on eBay for the exact total amount I paid for it ($140.25)...Brian J.

I'm not a fan club member so I got tickets when they went on sale.

For Cleveland I got Section 4 floor seats 2 tickets. I was so excited when they came up I just accepted these.

For Chicago I bought 3 tickets and the first time I got section 114 at the back of the arena 1st level. There was no way I was going to pay $400 for the back. Then I tried cheaper tickets and got section 202. Not good enough. I tried the $125 again and this time I got section 103 row M. These were much better than the first set I was offered. Even though these are to the side of the stage, they are closer than the end of the arena.

I'm happy with the tickets and the fact that I will be seeing them twice this tour!!

Thumbs up Philly Show

Section 114, Row 13, Seats 12/13

Looks to be awesome seats, even though it is not on the floor. There weren't any more floor tickets available. I got these today at the public sale, because my password was invalid for the presale.

I think I am actually happy that it was invalid - these tickets look to be much better than alot of those sold during the presale. I would really be upset to have bought floor seats in the way back thinking that they were in the "best 20%" of those available during the presale!!

Wow I haven't posted here in a while.

Anyways I got tickets for the Chicago show. And man I really hate ticketmaster! I love using two browsers. Of course you only have 2 minutes to process the page..bogus! What happened to the 5 minute thing? I had to type like a monkey on crack! (not that I know what that is like).

So after a half hour of getting rid tickets from the section 114, 115, 116, and even Section 2 on the Floor (I so would have gotten those but couldn't even remember my password and then by the time Ticketmaster emailed it to me, I lost the tickets!) BOO! )

Anyways I finally got section 104 Row L. It's not bad. It's at the side of the stage so I am excited since it's closer than being in boo foo.

I haven't posted here in a very long time. I went to Ticketmaster.com at 10:05 this morning and was looking for 1 ticket to the Chicago show. I got section 2, row 20, seat 3. I think that's about half way back on the floor. I was pretty happy with that as I didn't think I'd even get on the floor. Some friends of mine, who were looking for 4 tickets, got section 114 - completely opposite the stage. Their tickets actually cost a little more than mine because they could only be shipped UPS. I was surprised that tickets that far back cost $125. This will be my first Fleetwood Mac concert and I am soooo excited! I also plan on seeing them at Summerfest in Milwaukee. I keep checking that website, but still no word from Summerfest that Fleetwood Mac will be playing there. Does anyone know anything about that?
