Seems like a lot of people don't want it to be her, but why? Does she lose her magical aura if she actually does normal things? Can't speak for anyone else, but it has nothing to do with not wanting it to be her, I just personally don't think it is. To me that's someone trying to look like Stevie. I have a feeling when Stevie does go out to do normal things, she makes an effort to not look like that. The people I've met who have run into her out for non publicity activities have said they almost didn't recognize her because she wasn't in her stereotypical clothing. I wouldn't be upset if it turned out it was her though. I think perhaps more people want it to be her for the reason that you said, because it's cool to think of her doing normal things like normal people. I'm sure she does, but I think she does it with at least one large man near her.

I'll admit, that's true. I'd very much like this woman to be her, because I'd like to think Stevie can do normal, enjoyable things. I hate the idea of her imprisoned by her fame.

(And normal enjoyable things are always better with a large man near. )

I agree..And Stevie does not always have an entourage when she's tooling around near her home. Usually Karen IS her entourage. If Stevie will go out like THIS, then she definitely would go out showing a little upper arm:

Yeah exactly. Because everyone walks around Santa Monica in Stevie's typical offstage clothing (black stretch pants with black shirt strategically covering the butt) in the summer , with the Stevie walk, with a lady that looks identical to Karen. right? lol

i have watched this clip 50 times i bet ya~ i am thinking it's stevie~ sure has too many similariies to me, to be an imposter~

& she does go out w/ an entourage~ a friend of mine was able to see her & snag an autograph at a record store in soho the day before the barnes & noble signing & she was w/ just karen he said~ dressed casual like this, yet stevie-esque~

Yeah when she's on tour and stuff she has bodyguards, but when she's just out and about near home - Karen is often the only one with her (but don't get any ideas potential stalkers out there, Karen is as tough as any male bodyguard).

Someone I know who works in the medical field saw her in Atlanta on the Say You Will tour. She visited a doctor in Atlanta, and only Karen was with her. She had simple black pants and top on, and was gracious to those who recognized her- she even signed an autograph for someone in the waiting room.

Publicity photos are hardly the same as being out pushing a grocery cart. When she lived in AZ people used to spot her often wearing floral print dresses, usually always with a hat on and dark sunglasses. When she goes out to be "normal" she doesn't want to be recognized, and I think especially if she was minding someone elses kids, she would want to be inconspicuous.

Does anyone have photos of Karen, because based on the little I've seen of her, and the one time I met her, that doesn't look like her. All you can tell from that video is that it's a brunette. For those who insist it is Karen, if it was in fact NOT Stevie in this video, would you still insist it's Karen, or is it just that it happens to be a brunette near someone who may be Stevie so therefor it must be Karen?

my friend said she was very quietly browsing in the rock section & he saw her~ he said there was 2 other people in there besides him, stevie & karen & no one else came up to her, or bothered her at all~

he said he polite slid over to her & said she has touched him thru the years & if she would sign "this" for him~ she did, it was a jazz cd he had went into buy, i'll have to ask which one~ he then said he thanked her & quietly left her to browse~ he said she was very sweet & as you said gracious~ & he said, because of that he wanted to make sure not to draw attention to her, so people wouldn't bombard her or anything~ he said he ended up buying 2 copies of the jazz cd, another one to listen too, because he didn't want to ruin the one stevie signed on the plastic wrap~ he said, tho karen was near stevie, she was down about 5 feet away looking at cd's herself~

I'm standing firm in my opinion, it's definitely her. You guys are right, those 2 little girls look like Ruby and Tessa, now that I've seen them. I bet she really does see them pretty often, or as much as she can anyway. She's their godmother and I can't see Stevie being a godmother who chill with the kids.

Mick also has a grandchild, in addition to his twins. Of course, Stevie probably has friends with thousands of daughters (and is godmother to 100s of them) even aside from Mick.

exactly!! And if someone is going to try and "look" like Stevie, they probably go to a little more trouble and try to appear more like the onstage Stevie. Why would someone try to appear like a dressed down Stevie Nicks? It doesn't make much sense... but then again, the world is full of nut jobs!! I do think it's her, though. I wonder if that was her plate with the knife and roll on it that the camera was zoomed into at the beginning.

Where has anyone actually seen what Mick's daughters look like now? The only time I've ever seen them was in the DR documentary, when they were a year old.
