Christine------"Everywhere" It is my least favorite Fleetwood Mac song. There is something really blah about that song to me.

Lindsey------"Time Precious Time" There is something about the repetition in that song that gets on my nerves.


Stevie------"Welcome to the Room Sara" Again, there is something really blah about that song. I think it is the dragging beat with uninteresting lyrics.

Yeah, I'm not a fan and placed where it is at the beginning of the album, it brings the momentum to a screeching halt. Great Day ended and TPT put the brakes on the action so fast I got whiplash. I used to hate it, but I think now we've come to an uneasy truce.

I agree with you wholeheartedly on the latter two songs. They're my least favorite song offerings from Stevie and Lindsey. I, however, love "Everywhere". As for the Christine song I don't particularly care for, it would have to be "Dont Stop."

Absolutely. I think Time Precious Time is the weakest track on Gift of Screws. The rest of the album is damn great though!!

Weak? Not IMO. It IS oddly placed on the CD. I probably would have stuck it in at the end. But, the guitar work is amazing and it's heart-tugging (is there such an expression?) And, if you ever saw the boot of it done live at the Nokia...wow!

Here's my list.

Lindsey: I Don't Want To Know, I Know I'm Not Wrong, Not That Funny, Oh Diane (as a FM song but as a solo Lindsey song I wouldn't feel the same), Oh Diane, Red Rover.

Stevie: Straight Back, When I See You Again, No Questions Asked (absolute worst performance by Stevie with FM, hands down, IMHO), Affairs Of The Heart, Running Through The Garden.

Christine: Hollywood (Some Other Kind Of Town).

Rhiannon came on the radio earlier today and I'm sad (and surprised to say), that my initial reaction was, "what a ****ing stupid song"

I only like the old live versions. I KNOW, I know, it's Rhiannon and she's taken by the wind and the sky and all of that windy stuff, but there's something about the chorus in the album version that is vaguely annoying.

You know, I feel the exact same thing as you do only it's with "Gold Dust Woman" - I think the album version isn't nearly as good as all the awesome old live versions where Stevie's wailing all over the place and you can feel the intensity of the song.

Every time I hear it on Classic Vinyl (the station I'm always listening to), I just think, "You know, they should really go deep into their vaults and snatch up some live GDWs from '77!"

It's a crime that the GDW from Japan '77 hasn't been released or played anywhere. It's one of the best! I don't mind the album version, though. It's different, but still good.
