I've just been re-reading my Out of the Cradle liner notes and noticed that Chris Lord Alge mixed one or more of the tracks (I've put the cd away and now can't remember exactly which one/s)
This just struck me as odd after bearing in mind Lindsey's attitude towards him during Destiny Rules and the infamous "fight" with Stevie about mixing the record. Does anyone know more about this?

Don't know of any complaints Lindsey mght have had about it. OOTC was nominated for a "Best Engineering" Grammy. Alge, Lindsey, Richard, Kevin Killen and Greg Droman were named.

And I don't think that the root of the Destiny Rules fight had anything to do with Lindsey not liking his work...just more of wanting to give the work to his guy, the "smaller guy," who was not as mainstream and would have more time to dedicate to the project.

Good remark Josh2003, it was about approach and availability, not about taste or skills.
