I am thinking of getting the "Tusk" Deluxe edition CD. I have the album but now want to finally get the CD. My question, is the art work inside the same as the album or is there liner notes and other pictures on the CD. Otherwise I might just get the digital copy. Any info would be great. Thanks.

I would go for the physical cd and skip the digital copy, it is worth it for the packaging which includes liner notes and the artwork that was on the vinyl version's records sleeves.

I thought they did a great job with the re-issues. They added back all of the original artwork and what I thought was the coolest part was they recreated the original record labels on the CD's. The brown Reprise label on "Fleetwood Mac", the Burbank Street Warner's Bros label on "Rumours" and the sandy custom label for "Tusk". I hope that if and when Stevie's albums get re-issued they do the same thing since all of her solo albums have custom labels.

I agree....they're all well worth having! I'd love to see MIRAGE and TANGO IN THE NIGHT get the same treatment!

I get the feeling Mirage is their most underrated album. I love it. Honestly, sometimes I can't make up my mind between Tusk and Mirage. Imagine...remastered with a nice, cleaned up version of "If You Were My Love"...with the full band "If You Were My Loves" repeated at the end. As for Tango, some high quality versions of "Down Endless Street" and "You and I Part 1" would be worth the price of the album alone...plus the million other demos from that era. Of course...the original tracks from both deserve to be remastered. The current CDs do not do the songs justice. The remastered "Gypsy" on Very Best Of is at a whole different level.

Mirage is no doubt underrated, but second best after Tusk? I personally think Tusk > Tango In The Night > Mirage > Rumours > Fleetwood Mac. Keep in mind that this is like choosing favourites among your children (at least I think that's what it would feel like, seeing as I don't have any children of my own...)
I'm surprised the Mac didn't take advantage of their tour to promote re-releases of M and TITN... their Rumours re-release was probably meant to be that way, but apparently they had copyright issues. In any case, I'm doing my best to wait patiently for September! And for when they come to tour Australia!
