Default Elizabethtown

I pleasantly watched this movie today on TNT. I like Orlando Bloom so I started to watch it. Very surprised and thrilled to hear a few of Lindsey's songs in the movie! I had never seen this movie before and didn't even know it had such a great soundtrack. Loved the ending too!

I was just in Elizabethtown, Ky the other day! lol we stopped at a gas station and some random woman yelled at me.
for some reason I seem to attract the crazies..
I've never seen the movie "Elizabethtown" though. I'm thinking I need to.

I LOVE Cameron Crowe! Almost Famous is my fav, but I have a soft spot for this film. I know it got sort of mixed reviews, and I'm not crazy about Orlando in it, but the writing is great and the use of music is (like in all CC's films) amazing. I would definitely encourage you to pick up the soundtracks...there are two volumes. Honestly, you can't go wrong with Lindsey, Tom Petty, Ryan Adams, Kathleen Edwards and My Morning Jacket on the same CD. Great road trip music.

The scene that "Shut Us Down" is in always makes me laugh. Susan Sarandon is golden

Yes, you should watch the movie... And the famous hotel caught on fire a few days ago... at the Brown Seelbach... But all is safe and cool..

I'm in Louisville Ky... You should catch the movie "Elizabethtown"... we call it "E-town"...

The Elizabethtown version of Shut Us Down is so much better than the Under The Skin version. I still have no idea why they changed it.

The instrumental section got cut. I almost started a thread a few days ago asking if anyone knew why it was changed but then this tread popped up. At first I thought it was because he didn't want any lead guitar on the album but TTFTS has a lead section and it didn't get cut.

Yet he still managed to mangle & ruin TTFTS other ways. The unreleased version was perfect as it was.
