I always love John McVie.He's quiet, polite,he minds his own business. With out him the band will be called Fleetwood Buckingham/Nicks.wow that sounds like a lawyers firm, anyway why in the hell this reviewer is picking on him.anyway only my opinion, Music Reviewers: "Sad pile of antisocial sheet"

I think John and Mick together as a rhythm section are very underrated/undernoticed.
I agree with this, Stevie and Lindsey are the main components of the band, and they should be. But you go and say John McVie to someone who doesnt know they band, they have no idea who he is like if you said Stevie Nicks or Lindsey Buckingham

Why don't reviewers stop writing about FM shows? Do we need them to tell us they didn't like the show and the actions of the band members??? No, absolutetly not, thank you!

Thumbs up Nah...

I beg to differ. At the Philly show, some woman in front of me made a special sign just for John. Towards the end of the show, the man next to her helped hold it up. First Stevie & then John spotted it; it said, "Ahoy John" or something like that. He smiled, pointed & kind of nodded. At the very end of the show, a man came out & wanted to hand that man a guitar pic that was from John for that woman. The man pointed to the woman since she actually made the sign, & the man got the guitar pic to this woman. Then she threw the sign up to the man on stage so John would get the sign. I thought it was really nice of John to acknowledge her in his own way & for her to acknowledge him in her way.

And John is the best bass player around.

This "reviewer" was merely trying to get a reaction, as her "you can voice your impotent outrage" comment at the end of her rant reveals. She has clearly never seen John play before, and certainly never HEARD how well he plays.

Calling someone a pile of **** (anti-social or otherwise) is not criticism. It's immature. Ignore her. No one of any importance will take her words seriously.

I was thinking of making a sign for John... and maybe Lindsey... maybe Stevie and Mick too. I don't know what I'd write on it though.. maybe draw a big penguin?

If you drew an arm with a penguin on it, John would know it reflected his tattoo.

Smile How rude

I'm a huge and longtime fan and this is my first post. I've generally been a lurker but had to comment about this.

I just read this now and am really saddened by what that person said. We were at the Vancouver show and got to hang out down by the stage and John walked by and actually said a word or two to us as he was going backstage for a smoke He was lovely and funny. Even though we were RIGHT THERE no one else took the time. Sad pile of antisocial ****...um, no. I should say though that after my husband was waving his arms around and "thumbs upping" Stevie for 2 hours she gave him a wink and a thumbs up back. Pretty much the best moment of his life

We went to Tacoma the next night and are going to Edmonton on the 24th. So excited.

BTW, is anyone here fom the burnish.net days? Is that ever coming back? Tracy??
