Well not really relevant to this forum, but probably the best thing in my FM collection is my cd copies of Billy Burnette's CDs. As some of you may know I am one of the weird people who collect stuff by all 16 members, and so you can imagine my delight to find someone who had professionally copied Billy's out of print albums to CD. Sure they might officially be bootlegs, but it was still fantastic to hear such great music that is long out of print.

I think my favorite most recent acquisition is a mint copy of the Tusk liner notes lithograph. It is super cool.
I also like all of my vinyl bootlegs. I don't collect boots on CD or anything, but I like tracking down the old ones on vinyl. I have "Albatross, But Not Around My Neck Please," which makes me laugh, and I recently snagged the Live Ivory vinyl to add to the others. I can never seem to get the Uncirculated Rumours set, though, for some reason.

I have all of the usual stuff, the promo posters for all of the albums (Mac and solo Stevie) from "Rumours" on up. I have all of the albums on vinyl and CD, all of the singles and picture sleeves (which I just found out today that the "Nightbird" sleeve is worth about $50 in mint condition, good to know!). I have all of the tour books, I have all of the demos etc. But what I like the most is:
1) The matted and framed "City Of Hope, Stevie & Friends Concert" promo poster from 1983. 2) My platinum album RIAA award for "Rock A Little" awarded to Modern Records. With record awards it depends on who it was awarded to, ideally it would be to the artist, next is the producer, then the record label after that is musicians and radio stations. I had a chance to get either the award to Modern for "RAL" or the award to Stevie for "Bella Donna", I didn't think I stood a chance in getting the BD award, so I bid on the RAL award, turns out I would have won the BD award had I bid!!! 3) Finally my other most prized item in my collection are my original radio shows on LP or CD (depending on what it was issued to radio on). I have over 120 shows I think from 1976 thru today. These include concerts and interviews. Some really awesome stuff on these shows. |

Oh, I forgot I have the Crystal Visions tourbook in my closet too.
And all of FM and Stevie's official CDs. Well, I suppose it depends on what you consider to be 'official'.

Now my '97 t-shirt, along with the poster and keychain from the same concert, are the oldest merchandise I still own. The colors on the poster have faded just a bit, it still looks decent. But the t-shirt is so old that I just wear it as pj at home. The fabric is so worn out there are holes in the back. Does that make me a die-hard fan? ![]()

I am so in love with my collection...I have a huge collection of books regarding fm, and of course vinyl albums. I have boxes of audio and videotapes from back in the trading days that I refuse to get rid of, because sometimes I listen to them and a lot of that stuff is not on youtube or found anywhere else. I have many albums of pictures and even some negatives that we got years ago. A big folder of all john's correspondence. Old magazines and articles that are chronologically arranged. Some beautiful posters... and I love all my tour books. I always tell my daughter if I kick it, she can probably make some money if she finds the right buyer for all this lol
