Possibly. There was always other things to help numb the pain back then anyway.

Exactly.

Hate to single out LB again in this thread (what am I talking about I love it), but I'm curious about these NM days...did he have like a cold or just looked/behaved sick? Some people will forge through things if it's not affecting their vocal chords. And other people just use the "vocal chords" excuse for every damn show they cancel. Honestly, Fleetwood Mac isn't that bad...

My friend went to see the Killers and Brandon Flowers sang two songs and left the stage. Then the show was canceled and the doctor came out to explain the severity of his condition. I remember she told me most people (including herself) were just PISSED. Like, why during the frigg'n show...after we sat through the opening acts...and not like BEFORE she drove 3 hours to see them. lol!

But they did reschedule, so all's well ends well. Sometimes.

Well, the guy could have thought he could do it - they have those miracle shots they love to give 'em... and I do think they don't want to disappoint the fans, or get sued, or have to reschedule. But, if you're gonna ruin your voice it's not worth it. Sometimes it just needs a rest.

Anyway, she must be really under the weather, and it's her thing to postpone a few shows when she begins to feel ill to recover.
A "heads up" doesn't do much for anyone traveling to the show, as I was planning to. I appreciate them calling it off in time for me to cancel my hotel and my vacation days at work.

...of course, that means I have to go to work today.
