Default Rumours Record Sleeve

Can we talk about the rumours record sleeve??? Great, great candid pictures!!! There are alot of people in the pictures that I can't identify though. Anyone have info??? Is the headless guy wearing a penguin shirt holding a bag of coke in one of the shots? John, perhaps??
Point out some other fun tidbits or interesting things you zoned in on.....

I think that's John, too. Anyone else might be wearing a Fleetwood Mac penguin logo, but only John would wear a T with non-Fleetwood-Mac-related penguins.

There are good shots of Christie Alsbury (before she married Greg Thomason) & of Judy Wong, as well as Dashut & Caillat & John Courage. Mick's two daughters are there, too, plus Bill Graham.

Many of the outdoor stage shots are from the Days On The Green, April 1976 (& again in May).

At the top center is Christine & her ARP String Ensemble, possibly laying down the "string" patch on "Don't Stop."

Interestingly, there are Polaroid series of John, Lindsey, Christine, & Stevie, but none of Mick.

Maybe Mick took the polaroids.

Is there anyway for someone to post these? I've never been lucky enough to come across a Rumors record. I'd love to see them!

^I should try scanning it, even though it's bigger than my scanner. There's a picture of a woman at the bottom and I've always thought it was Jenny. A friend of mine and I were looking at it the other night, trying to figure out who it was.

*edit* pictures. just click, it'll work even if the thumbnails don't.

It is him. He's wearing the same shirt in this picture, and he's wearing that ring:

Bob Welch is in the large photo in the center, sitting on the floor. He's wearing his signature hat.

I'm too lazy at the moment to reference the album inset, but isn't there also a small photo of Lindsey puffing on a pipe?

Question: sort of related. I'm watching Classic Albums, the making of Rumours, the scene where Chris is singing "Songbird" on that stage, when was that performance? In '97, when the doc was being made? The Boy George hat is throwing me off

They also talk about the album cover and that sequense of shots on the back of John going for a hug with Lindsey and the significance of that.

I assume that was done right at that time, for the program. They went back to Zellerbach in Berkeley & set up piano & mic as a kind of homage to the original recording.

That's what I think too. Thanks. And those rehearsal shots at the end, I guess are from the Dance tour? Being '97 and all.

Thanks so much for posting those! Are Stevie and Lindsey kissing in that one photo on the upper right? I couldn't tell if she was kissing him or just whispering in his ear. Great shots!

Lindsey used many of these band photos in his Show You How video.
