Repeat: the venue seats ~15,000 in the seating configuration Fleetwood Mac used for the show ( http://www.qwestcenteromaha.com/Book...yProcedure.pdf ) The venue may have been staffed for 15K in attendance (anticipated attendance figures for shows are often included on the event info sheets distributed to ushers/concessionaires/etc), but there sure as hell wasn't anywhere near 15K in attendance (even including all the comps).

I'm happy the show happened, especially (of course) for everyone in attendance. I realize it can be a bit pedantic to discuss the attendance in hindsight- its my instinct from my experience with the field, coupled with my passion for this band to be successful in what they do, that drives me to discuss and analyze it. Based on the posts on these boards, I know I'm far from alone.

Back to the subject at hand, Here is a link to the BOK Center in Tulsa for those interested in seeing what David described about the outside architecture of the facility:

i never called you obsessed & stopping at nothing~ maybe you need to re-read my post, that was directed to lukea, who seemed to have a hard on for the omaha show being cancelled~ & tho whole crowd up there new about & was keeping an eye on dylan, there were so many older fans refreshed to see someone so young, love lindsey so much~

The overall development site for Qwest Center Omaha spans 422 acres which is approximately 100 city blocks. The facility opened in September 2003 and contains more than 1,100,000 square feet, including a 194,000 square foot exhibition hall, more than 63,000 square feet of meeting space and an 18,300 seat arena. The site includes approximately 4,500 parking spaces, including a 3-story, 500 stall parking garage attached to the arena portion of the facility. The facility is connected via skywalk to the 450 room Hilton Omaha. The Hilton Omaha is Nebraska's only 4 Diamond AAA property.

i was questiong tho how you said only 8000 were there~ when i called, because there wasn't a total in the newspaper review, my friend tom said 15,000~
Ok, I can see where I misunderstood you. No no hard feelings. I'm sorry I didnt mention you in my original post, but it took me over an hour to write that review, and I was pretty tired. My mistake. I will say that it was a real treat seeing you and your husband again.

Jill...IMO that is not true. Luke has a hardon () for analytics and I, among others, have keen interest in that too; I have known Luke to be quite supportive of FM. I do rather enjoy that we are all expressive with the pros/cons of the Unleashed Tour...I think we are all aware that there has been no shortage of either.

OT

Luke, notice no updates on recent cancellations LB.com & FM.com? are you ready for more ridic? LB's myspace seems to have turned to emptyshell as well. Have you any thoughts on other possible cancellations?

David: are you creating a scrapbook of all these many great moments and adventures from the past years? You really should. As much as you are inspired by and adore Fleetwood Mac's music, I am sure that they (Lindsey obviously) are grateful to see someone as dedicated to seeing them live as you are. It probably encourages them and lifts them up. No question ANY fan in the audience would do that, but there is always a special place for those few who have the chance to see them at more than a few shows and are lucky enough to meet/speak with them. It's a great feeling I'm sure.

I find it very unfair of you to portray me as someone who is obsessed with getting up front all the time and would stop it nothing to get backstage, because nothing could be further from the truth. I have said on more than one occasion that I'm more than happy to sit in the cheap seats and not really care as long as I'm there.

Um. She never said that. You seem defensive.
