Default The NBA using Buckingham's "This Is The Time".

During tonights NBA game, Denver vs. Dallas I heard Lindsey singing
"This Is The Time" (OOTC), and looked over at the TV and saw TNT
using the song as a promo for the NBA playoff games.

Pretty Cool!

Well LukeA it was new to me.

1. I don't read every post on the Ledge.
2. I hardly ever watch NBA games anymore.

Luke I really believe I know what the "A" stands for in your name.

One thing that puzzles me is that I wonder how someone so important
to the music scene has time to post with us mear mortals?

Please go read your magazines like Billboard, and then check in with
Pollstar, and etc..etc.. And then maybe you can post something interesting,
and keep pretending to be something you're not. There must be something
seriously wrong with someone who only knows how to attack others. I don't
feel special though, you attack everyone on the board.

Did you get the response you wanted?

^ I'm not going to ask...

But how COOL that LB is represented in the NBA. These games are a big deal to us here in Cleveland, of course, what with LeBron James being our home boy. We're all very proud.

Incidentally, TITT is my least played song on OOTC. But obviously it's making it's own so what do I know...

WHOA! no snark was intended!

I was surprised that, having watched most of all the games, I hadn't heard it yet. That's why I copied/pasted the other thread- since I remembered it and was surprised when I read yours- being something that apparently TNT has aired multiple times.

That was really uncalled for.

As Doc Holliday once said, "Does this mean we're not friends anymore?"

for real

obvious to me you posted the link to provide additional information that was placed elsewhere on the board. one would think you'd have received a 'thanks!" ridic. Lately, I've been noticing some people seem to just automatically assume chit and go on personal attackmode rather than question first, react second. given that opportunity you may have responded 'as a resource' but instead we get INA's "There must be something seriously wrong with someone who only knows how to attack others" in reference to your behaviour when really he should be looking to his own.

SICK OF IT

This situation has been addressed and everything is resolved. Miscommunication is a constant with boards...especially with The Ledge.
