ok, i'll bite. THe good-looking and talented boxcar that brings the most songs that the crowd as a whole recognizes and comes to hear. Its a good thing too. Cause Stevie with THIS version of "Fleetwood Mac" and this tour and the OODLES of money that they will make will allow that engine to keep on burning. He needs the money for fuel.

(ALSO, on a totally unrelated note, the spell checker on my computer brought NO attention to the word "OODLES". Now seriously, should that even really be a word. no.)

Really though, the amount of energy he puts out is so refreshing and exciting. Lindsey usually does his solo's in NY when he comes to the East Coast so I don't mind a bit paying the extra $$$$$ to see him at Mohegan Sun. I just hope so much to touch his hand!!! He really seems so sincere to the fans. Very heart warming.
I'm really glad that you took the review for the positive aspects, of which there are many (for Lindsey). I'm pretty sure that was the focus of the post. LB...he is just SO amazing. It isn't too easy sometimes being a fan of either. Like, what Phoenix said about Stevie is most likely true...I guess. Most people come to the shows to hear her stuff and see her. But then, imo, I agree with what you and the extent of what 3rd World Man say about LB. I go for him. I don't need to see an artist or group more than once on one tour. The first time I'm usually satisfied. But Lindsey is a whole different experience altogether. And I will blatantly admit I have seen his solo shows and FM shows more than probably necessary just because he blows me away. And yes, I have paid a bit too much on several occasions.

But Lindsey? Totally, totally worth every penny.

And let the Crowd, and the People know that there would not be no Fleetwood Mac ~ tour without the CABOOSE...
And maybe that's why you might see Stevie relaxing... By God... Let the Men Carry Her for a CHANGE!!!

I even saw Stevie solo years ago (though I was there for Boz Scaggs, the opener). I like alot of Stevie songs, and have always wanted to see FM live.

So finally I have a chance to see what all the hubbub is about. And you know what? I felt like I was at an LB solo show. Why? Because Stevie was what I would call 'catatonic', she looked very medicated, no personality, no enthusiasm. I would have been VERY upset if I had paid like $200 or more like some people did. It was, in a word, ridiculous.

Now I will say the show overall was fantastic, but no thanks to Stevie. If I was cutting the paychecks from this tour, I'd give Lindsey & Mick 80% and let the rest of them fight over the other 20%. Those two worked their *sses off, while Stevie twirled around and rattled her tambourine. Heck, I'd say John was more animated than her!

If there was any doubt before that Lindsey is the creative and driving force behind FM, it evaporated very quickly during this tour. Lindsey was out there, giving it his all, very energetic, engaging and motivated. You could tell how happy he was to be performing. Stevie....ummm, 'a bump on a log' would be a fitting description. It would be one thing if FM were touring every year in a 100 venues, and things were just really wearing her down. But c'mon! You extort huge amounts of money from your loyal fans, and then act like you can't wait to get home to do something more exciting, like laundry?

Well, I'm glad I got to see a FM show nonetheless. Lindsey saved the night with his amazing guitar work, impassioned singing and enthusiastic performance. But I won't make be seeing any more FM shows, unless the tickets are really reasonable. No Stevie solo shows, for sure. I will wait for Lindsey to hit the road alone, and I will see as many shows as I possibly can. Lindsey deserves all the kudos and praise he gets, and Stevie deserves all the harsh, biting and negative comments proffered. And that is putting it nicely. I would apologize to all the Stevie fans out there, but I'm not sorry.

IMHO Lindsey is the Engine, The Engineer and the guy laying the track in front of the train. Stevie is the good-looking and talented boxcar following his train. Flame away...

Well, I certainley wouldn't fault anyone for spending $200 just to see Lindsey. His performance is WORTH every penny. It's just not fair that him & Mick do almost all the work, and yet Stevie will get an equal share of $$ I'm sure, plus tons of adulation that she was the REAL shining star of this tour.

Yes, Nico, I did enjoy some of Stevie's performances...I mean, I truly made an effort before the show to clear out any pre-conceived notions/biases/negativity towards Stevie. I cleared the slate and gave her a fair chance. But her lackluster attitude was even more startling when combined with LB's blistering performance...it for me validated why I love Lindsey so much. Yes they are raking in OODLES of money, much thanks to Stevie for sure...so I expected her to be alot more excited on stage. Next time though I will be throwing my money at just Lindsey--but if you haven't seen him play live, by all means, spend the money! He's worth it

Now that I'm back at home, more facilities to post videos. I think they got a cool resolution, for a small digital camera

I'm sorry, but that isn't fair. 3rd World Man was simply sharing his feelings about his show experience. That doesn't mean he isn't a fan or didn't enjoy the great aspects of the show. I appreciate that he shared and understand if not everything was up to his standards. I personally feel that anyone here who has gone to a show is allowed to criticize anything- including Lindsey- if they spent their money. And yes, you area allowed to respond...but I think it's hitting a little low with that kind of a comment.

In that case: why didn't she just put her name on the bill and collect the money?
