Default Finally bought an MP3 player

Will my life ever be the same? Well...let me get back to you in a couple of weeks. I said I'd never buy one of these things, but since I never really have any opportunities to listen to music, why not? It's nothing fancy (I can't even remember what the thing is called!) but it has some decent features and about 4 gigabytes of memory. With enough tweaking of the EQ and volume settings, the sound is decent, but not as good as CD. Unfortunately, Windows Media Player is being a little bitch about "unknown artist" and "unknown album" no matter how many times I try to correct it, and these earbuds feel like I've got stethoscopes shoved into my ears. I suppose I'll just have to adapt, but I can't see these things replacing CDs any time soon, no matter how many people say they will.

God help me if I ever get like those people who never take these things off in public. I'm convinced that most hardcore IPod listeners are half-machine.

I think it's quite handy having an mp3 player. If you're like me and you like to download lots of music, I find it's better to put them on an mp3 player rather than wasting cds and taking up so much space.
