I thought the GDW this show was awesome! (from watching the youtube video) The "Draaaagoonnnn" part was new and exciting! ![]() My show isn't until May 31st, which I have yet to get tickets for. I'm playing the waiting game this time, which I've never done before. I'm amazed at how calm I am about it too, cuz normally I'd be a complete mess until I had my tickets in my hot little hands! I'm so proud of myself. ![]() |

I will say that it is disappointing to hear that she looked or seemed tired the other night. But the vocals were amazing in a half which makes me wonder- because if she was really tired, she wouldn't have been able to belt those vocals!

She just seemed pissed and didn't want to be there. Lucky for me though, that wasn't the only show I saw that tour, I had 4 others to make up for it. |

So, I do think Stevie "gives a damn", but she's only human. |

I'm sure she's over the worst of that. It is a long process, though. I think Stevie must have some minor health issues that sometimes affect her performances. Almost everyone I know at her age is either on chlosterol, arthritis or high blood pressure medicine and from what I understand, all of the medicine makes you feel like crap... so... let's cut her some slack. She can still sing!

And she was in the middle of it during SYW. Which ended a while back.
Menopause is usually over and done with by 60. Ooooh...don't you look back;-) |

Understood. I just get sad for her when I read all these "she's not energetic enough", etc. comments. I think she's doing the best she can.

And that is unfortunate, because she's seemed like a completely different person when promoting her solo stuff recently. I guess she, for some reason, has the mentality that she can't be "fun" while with Fleetwood Mac...it's not "her show," but her band's. |

Maybe I'm not quite as much a die-hard as everyone else in terms of Stevie, because although I didn't get that much from either of her performances, I didn't feel the lack as hard as some. I wasn't coming in expecting too much out of her, however, which sounds terrible but I always figured her "thing" was the singing and the twirls and the allure stuff, which is really interesting but has never done anything for me personally.
When I saw her on "Live In Boston" I did think she was just kind of there, but it didn't bother me. I figured she was just playing her role and her strengths were less in your face. I probably go to these concerts focusing way too much on Lindsey and just paying him far too much attention, but I have to hand it to Stevie as well. She had a few costume changes and some huge heels and she's not exactly young. From one woman to another, I totally commend her in doing what she does. It's why she has all the fans and admirers and people posting non-stop on her board, dressing like her, and forever heralding her as the "Queen of Rock and Roll." ![]() And that's cool for them. I'm a straight-up Lindsey girl. I'm used to expecting people to not know who he is, spelling his name wrong, and completely ignoring his contributions whenever FM is discussed in passing by casual fans. It's the norm to me, and yet I feel privileged because he's sooooooo amazing in so many ways and many times people leave these shows with a whole other perception of him. It's good to see him getting his dues, and he absolutely deserves them. ![]()

Perhaps her heart isn't feeling it as much anymore. It's sort of sad to say, but many performers have felt spent after so many years of singing the same songs in similar sequence. It's not exactly abnormal. Or maybe she just doesn't know how to compete with that crazy man on stage with her. That's not meant as a slight to Stevie, but let's be honest: Lindsey is, uh, well...he's pretty incredible up there. It's very much his territory, and he seems to be someone who, with age, has grown stronger, tighter, more confident...it happens. But she's great! I enjoyed what she had to offer. I thought Gold Dust Woman and Stand Back were amazing. And I'm even on the SOTM camp because I would SO love to hear that one. Or Angel. Seven Wonders? Paper Doll? She can still rock it. Even if it's a little far in between at some moments, she's got it.
