Man, if I weren't in school and all of that jazz, I'd totally be on this like white on rice!!!

Thanks Luke!! Whew.... My persistence paid off again, figured I'd be sitting in the back If I even went at all. Thanks to you and all the other kind Ledgies with your encouragement and advice. I just hope some of the others here looking for tickets were able to get them.

I booked my room at the Omni downtown. I was checking out their website a few minutes ago and guess what their restaurant and bar is called?
Illume Bistro and Illume Lounge Pretty cool huh?

Yeah, I kept pulling those. I just can't justify the cost right now, which I HATE . I've never been any closer than 12th row either... argh! I literally work across from the arena too... so it'll be stabbing me in the heart to know the Mac will be there without me! Oh well, I have more pressing things in life right now than $170 concert tickets. Congrats to all who landed great seats though!!!

How funny... I've worked 2 blocks from there for YEARS (even lived a few blocks away several years back), had friends who worked at the Omni, and I NEVER knew that! If you need any bar or restaurant recommendations, let me know! Have a blast at the show!!

Thanks Jannie... wish you would change your mind and come. It would be great to see you again

Kitten-- Awesome!! I'm so glad you got those third row We really did work hard for those seats didnt we? I was so sick of squinting trying to figure out those two security code word things on Ticketmaster every hour

Louie-- That sucks that you cant make it and you're so close. I totally understand what you're saying though. I wouldnt be able to go either if things hadnt worked out last minute for me money/work/family wise. I'd love any bar/restaurant advice too.

Louie,

Weren't you going to try to get some of those $30 tickets? Did you decide you didn't want those seats?

I'm flip-flopping. Just found out yesterday officially I'm being laid off July 1... so any unnecessary expenses right now just don't make sense. Plus I'm a snob... I just don't wanna be up in the rafters for the show lol. I'm still telling myself I could justify $170 for a first or second row seat though... so I'm still hunting those on Ticketmaster . Yeah, I'm a mess!

I see where you're coming from, especially if it's $170 for a so-so seat. But if a really good one pops up, I can tell by your voice (well, typing) that they are going to reel you in in the end, even against your better judgment

Michele
