New show information

Ok, so in Columbus last night I talked to someone connected with the band who shall remain nameless but who's opinion I trust and this person gave me some good info on shows in June. Keep in mind that these ARE NOT confirmed, but I wanted to post it because like I said I trust this person and I wanted to give people a chance to talk about it.

First of all, he told me that Salt Lake City was definitely on the list for June, but no exact date. He also mentioned AC and Holmdel and said that they were going back to Madison Square Garden. Interestingly he also told em about another show or 2 in Canada. One of the cities he mentioned was Saskatoon. However, the biggest news, and the one show he was firm on was the final show of the North American leg which he said would be on June 20 in New Orleans.



Finally he said Europe and Australia would take place in early fall, but that they were still negotiating details on those shows. Hope everyone finds this info useful. Either I'll look like a complete idiot or Nostradamus. I guess we'el see which one!

Hmmm... Well if they are going to Saskatoon... Then they HAVE to hit Winnipeg.... It would just make sense, it's the only other major Canadian city they HAVEN'T hit in the west.

I wonder if they will swing thru Connecticut again towards the end of the tour. Lots of bands have done that. The show was a near sell out (if it wasn't entirely sold) last month, so it would be an easy to make up for lower ticket sales at other stops.

I think I'll have an aneurysm if they played Saskatoon! I'm literally shaking and tearing up~! Oh, I'm such a nerd.

Yeah, I think their largest venue holds 10 or 11 thousand... The Eagles were just there like a month ago and sold out 3 nights... There's demand for bands that haven't been to these cities ever or in a long time. They haven't been here since 1990 and I believe Saskatoon would be the same.

Regina has the Mosaic Stadium. ACDC is playing there and the Rolling Stones played there in Oct of '06. Brandt Centre/Ipsco Place has Rush last year - I was there and it was PACKED!

I'm too jittery to think of any Saskatoon venues, but FM played there in 1990.

I had heard they were going to play Jones beach in NY sometime in june...not the garden! Also stevie LOVES playing jones, soooo it would make some sense there!

Oh yeah, Saskatoon has TCU Place and the Credit Union Centre (13,000 for concerts).
