I would be surprised if they did. Because they've been opening with a bang and the shows I've been at the crowd has reacted massively.

yeah, same setlist tonight... Stevie's vocals on Storms, GDW, Silver Springs, and Landslide were REALLY great... not an exaggeration! I hope someone recorded it!

I agree with Gypsycat999. I just really, really want to hear Rhiannon live once. Never seen FM live before and it's such an iconic song. As for adding Straight Back, I'm really not up forthat. I think that Gypsy, Eyes Of The World and That's Alright are the only really good songs on Mirage.

Did you ever hear the audio recording of the band rehearsing that song for its 1982 tour? I think it has an appeal for people who don't particularly like the studio track.

Thumbs up

I liked hearing Oh Well & Storms. Stevie said that they went looking for a song that they never performed live before & then she sang Storms.

And sorry, no Hold Me.

I always liked RHiannon, even recent solo versions. But this tour it's dreadful. I was generally pleasantly surprised at the show I attended, but Rhiannon was a real bore. No fire at all, no feeling.

Thoughts:

1. Rhiannon is obviously not played because Stevie wants it played, it's played because it's a hit and because this is a greatest hits tour (or something like that, who knows anymore). But it ain't going anywhere, no matter what we mostly all want.
2. Monday Morning will not be dropped, IMHO- it's like the beginning of the BN-FM era, the first track of FM White Album, and I think it works great as the opener to the concert, it gets people screaming.
3. 'Hold Me'- you really think they could pull that one off live??
4. "SYLM"- ditto for 1. An iconic song, they can't not play it. Same goes for DS, etc, etc, etc. Plus I think Lindsey loves the challenge of playing a song that's not his, especially after his Crow 'lounge' derision i think he had to back it up by taking on the responsibility himself, or at least with Stevie.

ANd I don't know what people have against "World Turning"- is it the solo? Because I'm sure people enjoy that. I mean, I don't care how bad it is, I want to see it live, once. Then I can join everyone else who berates Mick and his 'balls'
But it's a good song, anyway. Up there with "I'm So Afraid" for White Album Lindsey angst.

My only surprise is how surprised people are by the setlist. I'm entirely unsurprised (apart from some Tusk gems which makes me VERY happy). You know we won't hear other Tusk or Mirage or Tango stuff. I just hope Lindsey doesn't drop Big Love, or I'll actually wake up, only to fall (crying).

Never in a million years and I wouldn't want them to try. Someone had said that the only good songs on Mirage were Eyes of the World, That's All Right, and Gypsy. Therefore, I questioned why Hold Me wasn't included as being one of the better songs off that album. I guess that was misconstrued. I apologize.

Funny you say that because it was "pulled off" only 27 years ago.

Sorta.
That's a real toughie in the songbook WITH Christine. W/O would be a horror.

Rhiannon is beyond dreadful. They need to either get rid of it or change it. It's funny, I was taking a walk yesterday and envisioning how Rhiannon could be transformed on stage into something interesting again. Just a few changes to the arrangement and some new dance moves could make a world of difference. It used to be Stevie's signature song, the song that brought down the house. Well, those days are long gone. She barely makes an effort these days to infuse the slightest bit of drama, excitement or passion into this song. Sad.

Yeah WITH CHRISTINE! I cringe to think of what it would sound like without her!
