I have been to many, many FM & Stevie solo show's and I don't think I have EVER seen one single black person just an observationn, not being racist

Sounds like it was a great show. How was Stevie? Still relaxed on Storms?

Well, to be honest, I've seen a slight bit more "color" at the last few shows, especially at MSG- Asian, Black, Latino, etc. There's a part of me that would like to believe that people are just fed up with the crappy "urban" music of today, and that they are discovering and/or paying homage to the true musical legends (who really sing and play instruments) when they come around. And I also feel that the audiences are getting a bit younger as well, which is surprising given the ticket prices and the economy. But then again, young people are less likely to be worried about paying medical bills and mortgages!

Yes, she was very relaxed throughout the show. (I've got to go to work & work a half day, but I can post briefly.) Everyone looked amazing & sounded amazing. Our seats were excellent, right smack dab in the middle, row 5, but more in front of Stevie. She smiled a lot. Lindsey just killed it, I thought, on Oh Well & I'm So Afraid. He was sweating up a storm; Linds needs to loose that leather jacket. Mick's drum solo on World Turning, outstanding. John,, as always good on bass. I had a hard time seeing Stevie's back up singers, but Lori was one of them. Oh, some woman in front of us made a special sign just for John. She held it up & he saw it & pointed. The other guitar player at the end of the show said that John liked the sign & wanted the woman to have a guitar pic. She threw the sign up to him so John could have it. I was glad to see that John was acknowledged (though he never says anything ). Funny during Lindsey's first talk, John & Stevie were chit-chating on stage, yeah, they've heard it all before. I felt the band was very connected with the audience (us), really appreciated us. A lot of empty seats, I'm sad to say. We (my husband & I) stood through the whole show. The other levels did not, only maybe during the encores. Security was actually nice. They disappeared during the show & said have a nice night as we were leaving. Everyone took pics, me included. People mostly took pictures with their cell phone cameras. Some of my pics were blurry & some came out great. I just got a new digital camera @ the end of last year & am still getting used to it. I'll probably put some in my photobucket site as soon as I get a chance. A very good show, glad I got those tickets at the beginning of April.

Why? He's telling you what he experienced. Let's get real. Most of the youngins today listen to a certain type of music. So it's a surprise to see a young African American girl into Fleetwood Mac? As far as their core fanbase, it's generally a mix of older white folks, 70's chicks, and gays. What the hell is so politically incorrect about that? Part of the race issue in this country exists because the pc police are too afraid to talk about it. How would you have had him describe the girl?
Back on topic, who did she dedicate Landslide to? She said it kind of fast. I couldn't quite make it out.

Seriously! On past Stevie tours, sometimes I thought there were more black people on the stage than in the audience.

Yes, actually you might, whether it's a "huge" population or not.

I did find myself wondering why the girl had to come from the rough and tumble side of Philly, but whatever . . .It's a conversation best continued in Chit Chat, if at all.

Hey, it could happen! Maybe people think Stevie called Rihanna a Welsh witch?

Because that's where she said she was from. And I have spent many a night in West Philly (near Temple University), so I know from West Philly.
