Of yes of course, never mind the fact that half the band are in fact European themselves and the band was born and nurtured in the heart of the UK.

Doesn't matter, we'll take another "meh" record over seeing them live. In fact, I look forward to it...

I swear if they don't rear their faces over here before the year is out... *rolls up sleeves.*..

DigYourGrave - hear hear!

It's that sentiment that got me to start this thread in the first place.

Although I have to disagree with your "meh" album comment. I love Say You Will. In fact, see my post about it on the main Rumours board...

Can anybody tell me why when FM goes on tour they do concerts in the USA, UK, Ireland a few in Germany but they don't play in more European countries like Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, France.....
Why don't they play concerts in these countries, when was the last time they played Canada.... My point is FM is wel known band all over the world, they can play everywhere so why not in more countries. Tell me why...

It's all about the money...last time in 2004, the Dutch subsidary of Live Nation (Mojo) didn't want to to take the risk of hiring a large concert hall, while SYW hardly selled any copie in Holland....so FM only played Ireland, UK and Germany that time. Back in 1990 they did several more shows though..but hey..that was almost 20 years ago...

The "Electric Picnic" Lineup is to announced today between 5 and 6pm. Fleetwood Mac have been strongly tipped to headline it all along.
However I wont be holding my breath. I think news about it wouldd have leaked out somewhere by now.

Plus Didnt Stevie do a radio show recently and she never confirmed anything about coming to Ireland or Uk. So I am not so sure yet.
Anyway in two hours I will know one way or another.

Come on Fleetwood Mac Please be on the Line up !!!!!!!

Tickets to the 3 day event are roughly 240euros plus you would likely need to hire a camper van too.
YES ITS WORTH IT !!!! the Electric Picnic is class.

^^ Well, I wasn't holding much hope that they'd do it.

What will totally peeve me off is if they definately don't come to Europe because they never had any intention of doing so - even when Mick said on live British TV that they would come over.

If they really are only in it for the money than i can stop hoping for a concert of FM. Than they wil only play USA, UK and thats it. I'm almost sure if they play smaller venues (lets say 15.000 people) in countries like i have named before they will be sold out.. But again, it is a greatest hits tour...........

If you listen to the interview on this forum with Stevie from yesterday than that gives me some hope. She wil not say that they will go to Europe, Australia and than back to the US for more shows if that is not true..
There is always a possibility that it wil not happen but the fact Stevie has spoken about it in this interview most say something.........
She also says it is a huge tour. With huge it has to be bigger than the last tour so perhaps more countries in Europe..........
