Live at the World Cafe.

FR*cking beautiful. For anyone who loves a thread about music more than about Cheri caspari or whatever exgirlfriend bull- with hundreds of posts. It's depressing.

Thumbs up

OMG, listening to this reminds me of Razzoo's...well, when they used to play zydeco music. Heh.

I dig it. Thanks Gerald!

For the non-Americans, Razzoo's is a restaurant that serves cajun-style food. http://www.razzoos.com/

Nice. It's also great that LB's music gets covered by other bands .

btw Gerald, your "Wear me down" version on Mediafire seems a bit slower than the one i have . Did you get it from Throwndown ?

Oh, I liked it! They have just enough spunk to make it work. I have always loved this song. All of LB's Tusk songs are so amazing, amazing, amazing. I fall in love with them all over again each time I hear them.

Though...what was up with that lengthy intro? Did they sort of decide to play it right on the spot? It seemed they didn't know what they were about to play...but it was all good after it started.

they usually play around with their setlist. Especially on the encores it's just "play what we feel like at the moment". And they occasionally play this track which they totally adore.

And Tusk? That is simply the best album ever recorded by anyone.

That's pretty cool. I'm not familiar with this band, but they obviously have great taste in music. And a fairly good sense of covering another band's work.

Tusk is so magnificent. When I first heard it, I remember being very much into PJ Harvey's Is This Desire and I thought these albums sounded amazing back to back. Something very insular yet faintly melodic in their tone on some tunes, yet raw/crazy energetic on other tunes.

It's a work of art. I feel sorry for those who still can't get it.
