Exactly, what I was thinking.

Thank you MacMan so much for posting this

My random thoughts as I listen:

1. She sounds extremely tired, yet talkative.
2. She worked for 2 months on Crash
3. The deafening silence when he asked her why she's never performed Wild Heart before and then she says "I don't know?" I was pulling my hair out yelling at her screaming "Bella Donna", Gold & Braid", "Nightbird", "I Can't Wait" & "Talk to Me", just to name a couple from the top of my head.
4. I think Stevie is soooo delusional because nobody around her would ever disagree with her. "Waddy, that was THE BEST vocal of Still of the Night we have EVER done, yes, yes it was!
5. Unleash the fury of Fleetwood Mac? What a f*cking joke.
6. Didn't Lindsey write two albums while on the road touring with FM and still put on a amazing performance the next nite
7. What is it with her and Vanessa Carleton and Michelle Branch? I mean, they're ok but they certainly haven't been very successful in the music industry
8. GDW on Soundstage is good but an acid trip? She seriously needs a "real" stage production manager. 8 weeks on GDW? Is she serious?
9. There are so many great songs that didn't make it She couldn't think of one. I'm sure her mind just went blank.
10. Fall From Grace: Lindsey. Wow. I just read the lyrics. That just shines a whole new light on it. I think that song would have been much more effective as a slow, sad ballad, rather then fast and angry.
11. Bad mood that day. Bad mood on stage that nite.
12. Floor length grey hair. Yuk.
13. I do agree that she would have definately still been a big star without FM.

Don't shoot me. Just silly **** going through my head as I listen

She's right...it was. It is the most powerful and emotional vocal i have ever heard for HSML and it has surpassed the BD version by a mile.

I am not a huge fan of the song, but the vocal is good. My fav. likely is the Vegas one from like the second night of the first set of the 05 tours. She SCREAMED - GO ON GET OUT! in a way that was a little rabid, or at least it seemed at the time.

Whaaaaa?

The best HSML's were on the Rock a Little Tour....so raw. so emotional. so off the wall.

I agree with T and what she is trying to say, I think. Practicing too much for perfection makes the song robotic and uninspired, in the end. Where is the random, spontaneous Stevie? She practices too much. Even her adlibs are rehearsed to death. She needs to let loose and let the music and the place take her to somewhere different each night. I'm not asking for 70s Rhiannon yell. I'm just asking for uninhibited Stevie.

Also love the Fall From Grace explanation. Gotta give it up for the shippers, they were right about that one.
Sometimes, all you have to do is pay attention...

Interview with Jim Ladd - March 21, 2005
"Fall From Grace was a formal full-on poem...you know 'maybe I worked this hard just to make sure you survive'...this was something.. and it doesn't really matter, of course, I wrote that poem about Lindsey and Lindsey knows that and he doesn't care. He loves being inspirational and he is and I am to him. So we laugh about that. So I write these really really heavy poems. I think I wrote most of that when we were out on the road on The Dance."

Wow, that's pretty cool. I don't play that well, but it sure would be fun to play with her. She's gotta be one cool person to hang out with. Too cute.

"when the touring starts to wind down, I think what I will do is, instead of doing forty-six shows, I'll do a record or I'll do the little four-song thing and put it out on iTunes..."

Please let this come to pass. *holds up hands in prayer*

She actually said that before, not that THAT means anything, but at least it's not just something off the top of her head - like that gold fish and lady bug thing... What was that all about

Yea, she couldn't remember the name for it, but she was talking about doing an EP. I think at this point in her career, that would be her best option. It would sell well, and wouldn't take too long to make. Maybe she'll turn the "Rhiannon Album" into an EP. It would be more appealing to more casual fans that way, and it would do really well.
