"Soundstage Sessions" Billboard Chart Debut Predictions

Good news...even though we still don't know the final sales results of the album, The Soundstage Sessions was the number one selling album on the day of its release (3/31) on the Triple A Album Sales Charts compiled from a survey of Independent Retailers in the USA. Pretty damn good, Ms. Nicks!

Did No1 chain store which is Walmart stockup on this dvd.they probably ordered 1000s of them, and make a killing with the price.That will help her get up on the charts.

I was at our local Wal Mart the other day looking for it, and they didn't have it. They only had the CD. And they only had 1 copy on the shelf.

Early indications don't show it even in the top 50. At the moment Prince is at #1 and Stevie is nowhere in sight.

I couldnt believe it this week as im groovin to prince and stevie nicks, i was like what year is this? lol, Then i turned on the radio for about two seconds and went back to the CD.

It came out last week like Stevie's so it's not listed on the charts yet. Early indications show Prince will debut at #1 with "Lotusflower" or possible at #2 behind the new Keith Urban album. The Prince album is a 3 disc set available only at Target.

On his new album, doesn't he borrow back the chord progression of "Stand Back" for a new song?

Prince was cruising down the highway in his purple Corvette recently, & "Stand Back" came on the radio. Prince started singing along, but with his own new words. He discovered that his words fit the music almost perfectly!

Well, the final results are in from HitsDailyDouble, and Stevie did not chart in the top 50. The Decemberists were number 50, having sold 11,567, so if Stevie sold just around 11,000 copies, she missed the top 50 by not too much.

Also, something else i noticed this week, a lot of the numbers were very close. Kanye West charted one spot above The Decemberists, and he only sold 21 more units, so all the numbers this week were extremely close to one another.

So that's where they were! I went to my Best Buy, and initially just bought the CD, which there were a good amount of. A few days later, when I went to buy the DVD, I noticed there was only one CD left.
