^^^ Agreed. Stevie's holding court. Thank you, everyone, for sharing your pictures and your experiences. Dame Lindsey, that was really special--what you said AND what she said. That was a really special moment. Thank you for putting that up.

That we, the fans, will be there for her and will buy it and support it 100%. She got all feisty and smiled and said "I'm gonna do it!" and I said we needed her and she held my hand, looked me in the eye and said "I need you". I made it off the stage before bursting into tears. Worth my 14 hour wait. Just enchanting....
This is amazing! I know you sat near my friend Janette, who was 3rd in line.. She called me today, all during the day, and let me know she made it to the line at 3:15am.. OMG.. And she, like you, said it was freezing out there! You're post gave me chills big time, and I wanted to say "Thank you" for shaing your amazing time with us, and to everyone else.. !

OMG we were done at like 7:10. I had seat Row C #10. LOL She looked radiant like someone else had mentioned. I got a boat load of video that I can't post now because I did not bring my laptop with me to NYC. Maybe tomorrow night.
Alex had one incredible night but I will let him tell his story when he can. She actually got sharpie on my leather jacket and felt so bad. I could care less but it was funny. She kept talking to me but the B & N staff shooed me along. I had a great time and would do it again in a heartbeat. I was lucky to be able to come to this today.
I also got to meet some nice Ledgies there. I also have some random videos of people going up to Stevie. I know that someone taped my big fat a$$ going up there.

Kim (songbird4) and I just got home. Of course we had to eat afterward and walk the city a bit....

IT WAS FANTASTIC. The wait and the continuous Stevie mix of Sara and Sorcerer was well worth it.

.....We were five rows deep. We got out of there about 5 after 7, since she was so kind to start early! When it was my turn to go up, they stopped me so they could take a picture with "Stevie's eyes open".....so if the CD/DVD are in the pic, those are mine. hahaha. When I got to her, she took my hand and we shook. I told her my name and she said "Hi, Curtis. Nice to meet you. I can't believe they are playing my music loud in here. Its like my own lil rock show". aw....she said my name! haha. After that, I don't remember much. She signed my shiz.....and even put a Wild Heart on it because I asked her to do so yay. The heart is my favorite thing ever!

Nice meeting everyone and revisiting with old friends! Hope to see you Thursday.

Stevie Nicks held my hand the entire time she signed my DVD and CD. I was shaking (like a leaf on a tree).

I leaned over and I said to her: "You are so cute!!!!!!!"

She looked up at me and said: "AAAWWWWWWW!" and she BEAMED, LUMINOUS.

I went up to Karen and said: "I meant to bring my copy of Destiny Rules for you to sign, but I left it at home!!"

Karen laughed and said: "Nice to meet you" and brushed me off the stage.

Heaven.

Bliss.

Stevie Nicks touched me.

I love reading these stories. Curtis, when I read, "After that, I don't remember much," I laughed. The first time I met Stevie was like that. I'm happy for you--she said your name! TrueFaith77, you are funny!

Okay - I just got back home after dinner with friends. And, we TOTALLY saw Angela Lansbury leaving her show on the way home. What a day this has been!!!!!

I got the event at about 12:45. I in the initial section, which was cool. I made it up to see her by about 7:30, so the line really moved. The BN people were reaslly nice, but the ones at the table were rather rude.

So, La Nicks walks up to the desk, grabs the mic and and says "Want to know why I have invited you here [may she said gathered you here - it was very loud] ? We are all going to be put in a spaceship and flown to another planet!" "eek: Or something like that. It was hysterical.

When I got to the podium, they brought this lady up in a wheelchair. I thought La Nicks was going to burst into tears when talking to her. She was saying something like thanks for making the effort to see me, I know it is hard - or something like that. Then, the guy in front of me stepped up, KNELT DOWN, and proceeded to invite her somewhere. As they were ushering him away, my DVD got singed and handed to me without her speaking to me. The guy started to push me away when I politely said "thank you Miss Nicks" - she realizewd what has happened and was sort of shy about it. We chatted very broefly about the guy in front of me and then she smiled and said thank you and I was out of there. I really felt like she saved the day because I almost got shoved out of there after seven hours of waiting without her seeing me. So, kudos to her.

Now - about her people and the handlers at the desk. When people wait for seven or more hours, it is HIGHLY rude to speak about these people as if they are not in the room, to wit: "HURRY THESE PEOPLE UP" "THESE PEOPLE ARE TALKING TOO MUCH" etc. With respect, the process was moving way quickly and very well. She signed the first 144 in about 45 minutes. So, while there were many more waiting, it was very inconsiderate to speak of the fans as if they were an aggravation as opposed to the butter on the bread

In any event, I had a great time and it was great to meet all the ledgies.

I got to touch Stevie's hand! She's so tiny! And looks so pretty and still youthful even close up. It was great, and I was speechless until I realized my 10 seconds was almost up so I congrtulated her on the 2 new releases and complimented her on the Madison Square Garden show. She said "thank you, did you go?" (well yeah, that's why I'm complimenting you honey..)
Anyway, I had fun doing this and I'm not usually a big fan of waiting for stuff.

The pics I got were so far away. I didn't bring a camera and used the cellphone which as we know always takes such lovely photos (lol)
