Nice to get it early. GDW sounds great, but I have a tiny quibble - they faded "Sara'' down instead of letting the band finish... probably about 25 seconds or so. Maybe this was to make it more like the studio version?

and it looks like iTunes has it for sale right now!

OK, so I just previewed GDW and EOS on iTunes and it sounds like it has the audience in them. I was thinking (hoping) that it was going to be like the rest of the CD (more along the lines of a studio track w/out the audience). Hmmm, I can save my pennies and rip the DVD audio.

Is Itunes up to it's usual tricks? Meaning can you only get the bonus tracks if you rebuy the original songs from them? I hope not...gonna check there later...also get Enchanted from Amazon (I hope I can do it without rebuying everywhere!!!) ....

Yes, the iTunes bonus tracks are only available if you buy the whole album. That's called painting a vulgar picture. I haven't listened to them yet, but I assume they will be like "The One" and "Rhiannon" and have all the audience noise and everything.

Audience noise, LOL – too funny. The odd thing is, the songs (GDW and EOS) are indicated as iTunes plus, meaning they are free of copy protection – so once one person buys them they could easily circulate the songs in their original form, which I assume is 256K.

Oh, I didn't know that's what itunes plus meant!

That said: the audience noise in EOS is actually welcome. I wish they could have done some cleaning on the vocals and the orchestra, but the audience noise adds so much (my favorite is the audience explosion after Stevie's wail).
