B&N Roll Call

I plan on going after work, around 5ish.
B/N are nuts, yea - didn't like them when I met Mick. Very nasty and bossy.

Here's my new dilemma (I haven't read back thru this thread so forgive me)...

I want the BluRay of this show and not the DVD. I just called the store and asked if they have it. They said no. I asked if they WILL have it tomorrow. They said no.

I then asked if I could buy it somewhere and bring it with me because I don't want to buy the thing twice. They said NO.

WTF - that sucks. I need to buy this twice? Plus they probably won't let us take a photo with her, etc....

Anyhow.

I just spoke to another person who was nicer. She told me, when the doors open
you can go upstairs and sit. There are restrooms, and you can buy food there.
Once you leave your seat, you lost it. Now considering us fans we love each other.
If someone next to me got up and said can you hold my seat I would. I didn't
get the dvd/cd in time so she told me to go and buy that first cause that is what she
will be signing. I have soundstage I will bring that just in case I don't get the
ones in the store. My husband smokes so I know he will be in and out so
I hope no one gets mad at us. We are getting there at 7 am. But the only time
people will be standing outside is if upstairs is full.....Lets help each other out
guys..What do you think. I think we all want to meet Stevie...Right

Just look at it as having to pay $16 admission to meet Stevie and get an autograph. That's less than the price of parking.

Then you should get chummy with the person behind you and quickly turn around at the count of three as they snap a pic while you are at the table with Stevie.

I played the regular DVD after I got the CD/DVD thing on Saturday, and it looks dreadful on a HDTV. Regular DVD's need to be put out to pasture ASAP- I can't believe that in this day and age we are still forced to put up with this antiquated technology.

You could always sell the autographed one on eBay or craigslist - likely for more than what you paid for it, which could pay for the more esp

I don't understand why people are complaining about "no photos" and the fact that she'll only sign 1 thing - there's only so much time in the day, people. of course they have to set some limits, it's a signing not a meet & greet.

Same with B&N making you buy a copy there - they'd be stupid not to.

Yea I can't take a day off work. I'll be too bored on line anyhow. I'll go there after. Probably get there at 5.

And hey, we're not complaining per se about buying the item. It's just that I'd rather have the blu-ray than the regular one since I have the blu-ray player. If they don't have it, they should let us bring one. I'd gladly buy it if they had it.

Yea I'll ask the person behind me to snap a shot maybe.

I met Don Felder once and it was a great experience. He was very cool about it all and friendly. Stood up for the pics with everyone. Yea there's little time but if you get it down to a science everyone can get one pic with her really fast just leaning over the table like Mick did.

Whatever - it's all good. Stevie's tops.
