however, Stevie's hair is shorter during the RAL cover pics
{eta: actually, it kinda looks the same length i can't tell now}

whereas in '07, her hair in this pic kinda looks the same as the litho

the sleeves/disc etc are gorgeous too! i love the coloring. and the GDW one behind Waddy is priceless!

so she actually did the walk during the filming? I finished watching mine last night and she disappears for a while and then reappears to finish singing. That sucks that they didn't include it. It also sucks that BATB isn't on the DVD. Obviously, something about the performance was not up to par, in Stevie's mind at least. The version on the CD is beautiful but that vocal may have been done in the studio. Dunno, since there's nothing to compare it to. It's a terrific show but I just feel it's not complete without Beauty.

Such a shame Her performance of that song is stellar! Why oh why is it not on the dvd? Can someone please try to ask her why at the signing? It's not like it's an off topic question or anything It's probably the movie copyright issue but I still want to hear it from her.

Thumbs up

My copy arrived in the mail today...I was expecting the CD/DVD to be in a larger plastic clam shell case, but I was surprised to see it in a typical double jewel case (Which makes it MUCH EASIER to store in my cd collection)

I left the lithograph in the flat cardboard package to avoid and damage to it.

p.s. - There's a small printing error on the back of the release - The title to the song is "Crash Into Me", not "Crash" as listed on the CD track listing.

Looks like a gorgeous, well-done package for fans that I'm glad I didn't buy.
I purchased the separate packages from Amazon as I much prefer a regular DVD snap case and (any and all) of my CD's are ripped and then archived in a box and stored away never to be seen again. LOL.

Man... I'm watching it now for the first time. That is a great note she hits at the end of Sorcerer.

I'll say it: Rock on gold dust woman!

I forgot about that whole movie issue but surely they could have filmed it a way that wouldn't have shown the video screens?? It is disappointing but I'm very happy with the rest of the show. The lighting especially was outstanding. Stevie was really rocking out in those boots!

I know... and given that they filmed her performing it twice (once with the film footage, and once without) it doesn't make any sense...

Just got mine! Litho is beautiful, and the CD sounds fantastic. I am going to save the DVD for tonight. Happy happy.

I forgot about it being filmed twice! Now for sure, THIS QUESTION MUST BE ASKED!!!! And you must have a response for whatever stupid answer she gives you, like, "there just wasn't enough room on it" and our response would be "well did you need four cover songs on it?"
