Default Question about "Tusk era" shirt

I just bought this shirt off eBay. The back of the shirt says "Tusk tour 1979-1980" but I haven't seen a shirt with the penguin logo on the front. It's probably a bootleg.. thoughts?

I love that logo and it's a nice shirt, but I can't say for sure if it's authentic merchandise from the Tusk tour. I didn't attend those shows but I do have a shirt from someone who did. It's light blue with a penguin on the front, with a simple font of the band name. It's not the traditional cartoon penguin logo; it's rendered as more realistic . But on the back side it does say "Tusk Tour 1979 -1980" and lists some of the tour stops.

I saw that, very tempting.
Glad it went to a nice "home."
It's a good-looking shirt!

I've seen the front and back design on genuine Tusk tour shirts... but they were tan long sleeve baseball type shirts. This one looks like it was created to have a falsely worn look. I don't think I've ever seen this color on a FM tour shirt, Tusk Tour shirts tend to be longsleeve from what I've seen, and the designs seem to be created to look old and worn vs actually being worn. So my guess is it may be a repro.

That is the logo and the back of the shirt design. I used to have the tan sleeves with the brown middle baseball shirt about 25 yrs ago. Of course I out grew it in the late 80's and then misplaced it. So now of course I wish I still had it because I saw someone selling the exact same one for $185.00 on E-Bay. But that is the logo. Don't know if those colors were sold on that tour, though. But that's a great price for 25 bucks.
