Default The " It May Be Too Expensive" Tour Thread

Hello

I know I'm not the only one scared this tour may be too expensive. I can say I saved but I didn't, not a penny. My paycheck can maybe cover one show after ALL my bills, but not two.

And if I go to one, Im not sure which to choose, Philly or Atlantic City.

I just wish they gave you like a month notice on the exact day and time the tickets go on sale and then you can prepare

Oh well!

Thumbs up I understand...

exactly what yer saying Janet...I thought my medical bill from my lil' "ice breaking" was gonna set me back, But I'm going to at least make the OKC show...Dallas is still "iffy" but not out of the question.

I also agree that I wished there would have been more time to prepare for the tickets sale (Glad Debbie & myself saved some money in the bank)...I kinda "knew" something was coming, But I didn't expect it so soon (Last Friday)...As my friend Kelli says "Ya only live once...Go for it" Brian J.

I may in that boat too! They're not coming to Toronto, or Canada at all, so I'll either go to the Buffalo show or NYC, which is expensive enough, but then the cost of an $100+ ticket, plus service changes and the ****ty exchange = one poor ass 20 year old =(

I too am from canada and admit that it will be an expensive trip but if we want to them then we have to find a way. I f I knew that the Mac was coming to Canada later on I would just wait, but we all know how quickly the tour can end with no CDN or UK dates ever happening

I only work twice a week, and I am currently in debt as it is, so I guess I'll have to figure out something...BUT I WILL GO.

since my overdraft is already too huge to be true... i'm not about to fly to the states to see them this time, if they get to europe- i'll surely go, all i need to know is that i'll be left afterwards with enough money to pay for my next school year, and some more for food.

I will only see them if they come to the UK as my credit card sounds like it is in the same state as Tommers and I have to be responsible and feed my kids! I just hope the gigs out here don't end up being too expensive

Thanks Brian, I really hope they do too!

Because Fleetwood Mac is such a generally unreliable band, I'm going to do everything I can to try to see them in the U.S., regardless of whether or not they say they're gonna come here.

I've calculated that including the concert ticket, plane fare, and decent accomodation, plus general expenditures....it's gonna realistically cost me somewhere around the £1,000 mark.....

That's pretty much what I spent seeing Stevie in Las Vegas

Yea it's ridiculously expensive to trek to the U.S.....at least you really enjoyed yourself when you went to that show. Travelling so far, and no guarantee of anything is so risky...I mean, if a concert is postponed for one or two days, it could mess up everything.

I really hope you get to see them Pip. Same goes for all of us UK fans, we damn well deserve to!

Of course I should also take into account the money I lost when I had to cancel flights the day before travelling to Vegas when the shows were postponed.... it is indeed risky! I remember sitting at my computer in tears! LOL!

Default give us notice

I do think that they should give us notice as to when tickets are going on sale. Many of us live month to month, and to have a few weeks notice would be helpful - but that's NOT going to happen. We usually only get a few days to a week before they go on sale. Oh well, I guess all we can do is start saving now. I'm looking forward to seeing them again here in Seattle. I've got to see them one last time beforethe industry gets too crazy with ticket prices (if there is a next time, prices will be up to like $400 or some crazy sh#t like that)
