Matt-You got some great detailed responses from Mick, some that the "professional" interviewers never get. That's exciting that he said they'll change up the setlist if the tour continues.

Thanks a lot for asking and for remembering what he said too!

Asking Mick about Bob being omitted from the RRHOF took some big cajones... I couldn't have done that LOL. I asked John the same question a few years back via the Penguin's Q&A, and he gave me a much more philosophical answer (ie: they couldn't very well have inducted all 16 members, and that it's highly subjective as to who should and should not be included). The only thing I wish you would have asked about is a new album! I fear them dragging this tour out too long, and getting sick of one another, and not going into the studio. I'm trying to keep positive though!!
What happened was the I Love All Access lady Cory said I have 1 question left to ask and I couldn't think of one so she said you must have 1 question you have been dying to ask. So I did ask about Bob.

I forgot to mention that he did say that he felt that SYW will eventually be remembered as fondly as Tusk has in the years since it's release.

Fantastic questions! Thanks for sharing those with us. So if EVERYONE mentions SOTM to Mick, do you think he might catch on and realize we really want it? I laughed when someone called it your "interview" with Mick

I also asked him about all of the members past and whether or not he sees him and his answer was the sam old one that he always gives about seeing so and so occassionaly or talking to so and so on the phone etc He never really got into specifics regarding anybody particular.

No. 6 was an amazing question. Good on ya!!! Boy if that came to fruition we'd all go happily bonkers.

I was surprised at No. 4. Monday Morning is a spectacular opener, it really gets it going on the right foot.

Cory is Cory Buckingham, niece of Lindsey I believe.

Thank you, Matt. For me, that is the most interesting tidbit of them all. I'm glad to hear someone speaking well of that album from inside the band.

I'm in end-of-decade mode so I started making my list of favorite albums of the decade so far (I know, 8.5 months still to go, but you know. . .) -- and when I took a look at the list so far, I was kinda surprised that SYW ranks as the best American album of the decade -- but, on second thought, of course it is! For all of its flaws (it should have been a double-cd), no other American album this decade can match it for ambition, scope, consistency, inventiveness, and overall musical excellence.

(The American albums it bests: David Morales' 2 Worlds Collide, Iris Dement's Lifeline, R. Kelly & Jay-Z's Best of Both Worlds, Justin Timberlake's FutureSexLoveSounds, Jay-Z's Blueprint, Lindsey Buckingham's Gift of Screws, Missy Elliott's Under Construction, Aaliyah's Aaliyah, Timbaland's Shock Value, Beyonce's I am... Sascha Fierce, Bruce Springsteen's Magic, and, maybe, Lindsey Buckingham's Under The Skin)

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

But you forgot to ask him what it was like to record Rumours while all of the couples in the band were breaking up!

I'm glad you were able to "keep him honest," as it were. You really can't BS when you're being grilled by someone who has monitored your every career move for the last 40 years...

Matt
I can just imagine a Ledge thread in the year 2021, where everyone will be complaining that they won't do classics like "Silver Girl" in concert.

So Mick used the words UK and Australia, or was UK something you mentioned and he added Australia? Just trying to figure out whether they will only be hitting England or if they might hit some other countries too.

They are going to Australia. He mentioned it in our meet and greet too.
