Default thank you..

BTFLCHLD - thank you for sharing the video.. wow - what an amazing part of the concert. If you pause at 7:12 that is my #1 hand in the air with the long black sleeve.. thanks for letting me relive. The thing was - Lindsey just stayed in front of us for what seemed like forever.. until his guitar string broke. So cool... thanks a million.

Just in case y'all didn't believe it. BTW, I love how Stevie's voice cracks at "...not ABOUT the things that you've done..." It's cute.

Just to see a study of extreme contrasts, let's compare the MSG performance on March 19 with this MSG performance of "Stand Back" from September 3, 2003. I mean, Mama was firing on all cylinders and about to enter orbit!!

Keith! You have been Buckinghamized. Kind of like Simonized, but with an extra syllable;-)

You know, generally speaking, I hate ISA in any recorded format, but...when he does it live, it gets me every time. That wire he kicked away was about two inches from my fingers, by the way. I got them out of his way right quick.

I took some video. The visual isn't too hot since we were not that close but the sound ain't bad.

Here's Gypsy:

The rest are being uploaded as we speak, I only have about four more since I like to "play" too.

I thought the show was pretty great! Very glad I went.

I enjoyed it. I hadn't seen FM or Stevie on stage since 2004, and I took Humberto with me. My goal was to stay away from The Ledge, Nicks Fix and any Googling of news or leaks about the tour or set list. I almost walked into the show a complete virgin. Well, there were 2 leaks, but neither were substantiated since I refused to investigate whether 'Storms' or 'Monday Morning' were in the set. So, I had fun- it was different to me. Since 1993, I have let the internet reveal all the tour details to me before I even caught the show, this time I pretended like it was 1976. Sort of.

Here is my longish recap.

Wow, unbelievable. Watching that video seriously made me depressed. I was at that show in '03 and remember how great she was that night and that whole tour, really. The energy, the intensity, the enthusiasm - she was right there, in the moment, rocking her 50-something ass off.

I'm really glad I skipped the MSG show last night. I clearly did not miss much. Honestly, I really can't bare to see Stevie go out like this. I was on the fence about whether or not to go to the IZOD show tomorrow night since it's so close to me, but I've definitely decided now to not go. She is no longer the Stevie Nicks that I used to love see perform. To me, that Stevie disappeared at the end of 2006. Since then, she has just become -- someone else.

Yeah, but you know, there have been mixed audience reactions for these shows. Some nights, she's more up than others, as far as being in the moment and enjoying herself. Yesterday (to me), she was subdued, but still fabulous.

I'm not trying to influence you but I really do think you'd enjoy yourself.

wasnt she wearing those frankenbooks during the shows back in 2003? if so then that was why she was so animated back then. i am drunk by the way so if this doesnt make sense its not my fault, LOL!

oh god. what a difference half a decade makes. the version from last night is damn near soporific. she looks desperate for it to be over.
