Yeah, I hadn't seen pics of that outfit before. Black coat with a light gray skirt. It's what she first came out in.

I think she busted that one out in Nassau, and she wore the black coat over the rust-colored skirt throughout the "acoustic" set. I'm not a fan of her wardrobe choices this tour- she has skinny legs but packs quite a bit of junk in her trunk. So those skirts with all of the "rouching" and rosette detailing kind of make her look a little bit like a waddling duck.

She should try something empire or something that kinda skims the body... along with tons of Spanx!

that skirt was gray??? Oh my. I believe that's the same coat she wore for "Rock n Roll" during the CV tour...me thinks.

i so agree with you about her choice of clothing. those skirts she wears just make her backside look so much bigger. that is the one area you want to downplay not add emphasis to. i watch way too much of tlc's what not to wear but seriously somebody needs to sit her down and tell her this stuff. what is spanx? is it that stuff you wear underneath to make you look slimmer?

I think that she believes that accentuating the hips makes the waist look smaller.

lol, i never thought about it like that! I have found that if you want your waise to look smaller you can wear shirts or dresses that are cut inward. does that make any sense? I personally find when she wears those black pants and a long top that she looks much smaller. The dresses she wears just have way too much layering to them which was fine when she was a twig back in the day.

I saw on TV some celebrities swearing by Spanx- the underwear that miraculously (supposedly) makes you skinny. Who knows?

I really do believe that Grrrlfriend needs a gay man in her life. Seriously. From what I can tell, she has always had female confidants/assistants/designers, but no gay men. I'm not trying to sound misogynistic, but as a whole, I would give the women in Stevie's life a FAIL in terms of providing advice. I mean, her BFF styles herself like Elvira Mistress of the Dark.

I've used Spanx and the thing is bulges don't disappear. They just move UP or move DOWN. So, if you flatten your tummy all you do is give yourself a muffin top above the tummy. People really stand up for Spanx (like Oprah), but I am just not into them. Stevie has all sorts of ribbing, control girdle/corset action going on under her clothes though. In fact, we have been joking about Lindsey groping, but he's about 13 inches away from her actual skin, so in actuality there's nothing going on there.

It's funny, because Anderson Cooper just admitted during a lighter moment on 360 that he knows what Spanx are, but preferred not to talk about it. Hmmmm.

oh yeah i think i have heard of those spanx now. from what i hear they can do amazing things. yes stevie so needs a gay man in her life for sure. i have had several gay guy friends over the years and they know what they are talking about. they are honest and will tell you what looks good and what doesnt. yeah its amazing to me that stevie doesnt have anybody telling her what she should wear. she really just needs a stylist. i think it would have been awesome for her to go on tour this time around wearing some really funky clothing.
