Default Fleetwood Mac Oddities thread!

Hi Everyone,

I thought it would be fun to post a Fleetwood Mac oddities thread of the Unleashed tour.

Basically anything that happens at a show that's out of the ordinary be posted here.

Such as....lol
Missed notes, forgotten words, equipment failures, etc...you get the idea.

I've always loved when a band makes a boo boo or some sort of equipment failure happens....makes a show ummm unique...lol

We do this at the Rush forums and we did for the Snakes and Arrows tour.

It was a ton of fun finding those rare moments where you KNOW the band was giving someone a look...lol

I'll start,

Pittsburgh show, Dreams.
Lindsy's opening Riff is mysteriously lacking any effects whatsoever. By the start of the second riff, his effects are back.

(Anyone have a site where you can upload Hot links? No one wants to have to download small clips right?)

Stuff like that. Lets find more goodies!

test,

Pittsburgh, the band had to restart ISA. I didn't realize why this happened, but some people said that Mick had mistakenly begun Stand Back. That's why they had to start over.

I haven't been to any Fleetwood Mac shows (yet) but I thought I'd say I saw Rush last year in Regina!

Rush is always a fantastic show.
Much to the ire of many here (probably) , Rush is my Number 1 while Fm is second. (I'm not a troll i swear...lol)
A Rush concert is an amazing thing.
They are a whole different level of musicality.

Rush is my musician side, the technical proficiency nut and Fleetwood Mac is my heart and soul side.

test,

At the Uniondale show, Lindsey came in too early on the end of "Landslide". Him and Stevie were both cracking up. Great moment.

Stevie dropped her microphone off the stand at the first Chicago show (3/5/09) and made a hilarious face!

Well also at the opening night of the Unleased tour Stevie muffed the first verse of "Say You Love Me". She did the same during "Stand Back" during the opening night of "The Dance" tour. She skipped a verse but flawlessly went back and picked it up.
During "The Wild Heart" tour she started "Leather & Lace" with the second verse, she actually stopped the song and said "Wait, Don's not here, let's try this again!!".

wrong tour, I know, but Stevie completely messed up 7 Wonders during the 2nd show of the Tango Tour. There was no way to fix it so she just stopped singing, as the band played on, and said "that was a mistake". She was so honest and cute that she got enormous applause at the end. She looked completely embarassed, though.
