Anyone else find it hard to pay attention during the concert?
I swear it happens to me at every concert I go to. When I sit down in my Home Theater and watch "The Dance" or Rush's "Snakes and Arrows...Live" I am so absorbed in it, so focused on what I'm hearing and seeing, its wonderful. My wife sometimes has to bat me over the head and yell at me to turn it down or some other thing. When I went to see FM in Detroit, I kept reminding myself the whole way over from Windsor to forget about everything around me and to concentrate on what was happening on stage. Well, before i knew it the 3rd encore was over and I felt like OMG, wheres the reset button!!!! I wasn't ready yet....lol. I dunno, just seems like its always over before I'm ready for it. ![]() Anyone else get that feeling? test, |

Yes always. I wish they would slow the proceedings down a bit like every 1/2hour they could do a 2 or 3 song unplugged minset.
I always feel like they are rushing through the show. |

you know i do the same thing. when i am watching the show i try to force myself to focus and remember all the details but then when its over i remember very little of the actual show.
everytime i go to a concert it seems they go by quicker and quicker and then it seems like for weeks afterwards I am sad that its over. the only thing that seems to help regarding FM is to go to multiple shows. HA! now i just need to find some cash to be able to do this! |

When the band left the stage for the first time in Pittsburgh, we were like 'are you kidding?' It seemed like 15 minutes had passed.

What kills me is that I can never remember most of the concert... I stay so overwhelmed with excitement, but when it's over the memories fade, quickly. I am sure this has something to do with my extra cirrcular, sometimes ilegal, partying past, but surely I am too young to suffer THAT EXTENT of memory loss... RIGHT?!?!
Does anyone else have this issue? |

this appears to be a common ailment,
the only cure is; ...."focus, focus, focus".... the following "exercises" will help you, a) get centred, &, focus.... b) tell your self to pay attention, &, focus.... c) don't worry about trying to remember all the details, (that is the next-step), &, focus, d) forget all your other distractions, &, focus, focus, focus.... e) repeat the above steps until cured, Last edited by Edgeof27; 03-16-2009 at 05:27 AM.. Reason: loss of focus.... |

![]() Yep, thats exactly what happens! I forget the entire damn concert by the time i get home and only random bits of it pop up.I try to remember how a particular song started and i can't.. Being sad for weeks is also what happens like kak125 said. It almost feels like a bad dream where I get stuck in the bathroom for the entire show and miss it! So weird, i though i was only one who got like this. I ask my wife and she looks at me like I'm crazy. Then she wonders why I beg her to go another show! I say, "Because I think I missed the first one somehow!" Lolz. test, |
