anyone still holding out on tix for MSG show? waiting for better seats to pop up but its been stuck on Loge 53 and Loge 82 for past 3days.

Just curious, has anyone had luck self-upgrading their seats once inside? I know the last concert I was at at MSG, there was NO one inside checking tickets in the 200 or 300 sections to make sure that you were in the right spot and that was a sold-out show. I'm kind of hoping that we'll see some empty seats and be able to move, but we're in 300 so I'm doubting we'll get onto the floor. Maybe down to 200 at least, especially if there's really THAT many unclaimed tickets still.

far right Floor Seats popped up for about 10mins the other day but they weren't worth getting being far back..waiting to see if closer Loge seats pop up or decent Floor but seeing same tickets pop up doesn't look good.

I'm hoping to go to this show. If I do, I'm going to have to leave somewhat early to catch a 10:45 Amtrak to Albany.

I've never been to MSG. Can someone tell me the quickest way from the arena to the Amtrak area in Penn station? Is the entrance/exit to MSG outside on 7th Ave or is there an entrance/exit to MSG inside Penn?

Sorry for the dumb question... I really should have checked this out the last time I was in the city.

I saw the same crappy floor seats an hour ago. I am very interested in the answer to the question about whether you can upgrade at the actual event.

Are those sections right near the stage but off to the side any good? I see them available at a bunch of shows but not sure I want to be looking at the band from the side. What do you all think?

I keep checking ticketmaster but I'm stuck on Section 52, Row J, seat 4...

and thanks Sara for the tip about the sports bar next to the Garden - I can watch b-ball up until showtime and after the concert stop in for a nightcap and catch the late games..

Now one seat in Section 4 FLOOR (11th row) showing so maybe the floor is starting to drop. I have tickets on the sidelines and that is where I will stay. Cannot afford to play around for better tickets but good luck to everyone still looking.

I'm pretty sure they don't upgrade.
You have to buy a second ticket, if you find something better.

I must have visited ticketmaster a thousand times in the past week checking MSG seats.. today I'm getting sec. 4, row N, seat 3 or 4 or 5. Does anyone know how the seats are numbered - left to right? right to left? Since section 4 is far left on the floor, I was wondering if seat 1 was next to section 3 or at the far end of the floor. (I noted there were no $49 or $79 tickets available now).
